What's great about it: easy set up
What's not so great: limited use
According to Samsung support, the only use for this device is to up date the operating system of the television. The TV comes with a ethernet plug which also can be used to connect with the internet; it is cheaper and faster than this wireless device. Check out your options before you purchase. Samsung support is terrible.

What's great about it: Great Picture
What's not so great: Poor Service
I am very disappointed with the support and seeming misleading description of this item. The television displays an excellent picture and the sound is good. The item is described as having an internet connection with an extra cost device. The only thing the device does is to update the software in the unit. Customer service only work on one device,another is needed for BluRay player and yet another for a sound bar. TV has only 2 HDMI outlets. Shop carefully with knowledgable sales person. Research carefully and describe your needs.

What's great about it: price and set up
What's not so great: doesn't work in situation w/two circuit breakers and AT&T Uverse
Nice product, nicely packaged and easy set up. I set up on one side of the house near router on it's own wall outlet. I set the receiver in another room across the house on another circuit breaker. The device caused my AT&T Uverse televisions to loose picture. Didn't happen before I installed it and hash't happened since I removed it. Limited online support. Returned product and bought NetGear extender instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Compatibillity

It is compatible with the Samsung UN40D6420UFXZA ?
I suggest that you go to the Samsung website and request help by email. I asked a question about my new TV and got a response two days later.
