Dell - 14" Inspiron Notebook - 8 GB Memory - 500 GB Hard Drive - Silver Aluminum
Mobility without compromise. This ultra-mobile laptop exceeds expectations with 4th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, Windows 8.1, a bright 14.0" full HD touch screen and exceptional battery life.Stunning, thin designA forged aluminum design that's accented with diamond-cut beveled edges is just one of the premium features you'll find on the Inspiron 14. It's easy on the eyes and feels great to hold. The backlit keyboard makes working in low-light environments much easier - it spoils you for anything less. And the edge-to-edge touch display uses Corning® Gorilla® NBT™ Glass to complete a truly breathtaking laptop.

What's great about it: Size, strong built, touch screen
What's not so great: weight, noble lock hole
My daughter bought this for college. She chose the 14" screen to balance size x portability. She also liked the aluminum casing for its strength, compared with other touch screen ultrabooks that were lighter, but I still find the weight too much, and would've preferred an SSD drive, but this one is fast enough.
My big complaint is with Dell and Best Buy because Dell chose to go with the "noble wedge locking system" instead of the 99% other computers that use the "Kensington" lock. I didn't realize that until I bought a lock and it didn't fit. It turned out that Best Buy doesn't even carry them, and the local computer stores don't either! Have to order online, but the reviews on this type of lock weren't good regarding functionality.

What's great about it: easy to setup, small
What's not so great: Technical spec description, didn't work with my system
I believe this only works to transmit the sound signal, but does not have enough power to drive the subwoofers that don't have their own power plug.
My subwoofer is part of a home theater amplifier (a sony bravia 1000w "creap" system bought in 2005) and is powered by the amplifier itself, so I was skeptical that the wireless kit would have enough amplification to drive it - and I was right, unfortunately. The speaker wire has a proprietary sony plug, so I had to also cut the wire and buy 2 speaker-wire-to-RCA kits to complete the connection.
The amplifier has an auto-calibration feature where it plays some loud tones though all the speakers to set the surround sound. At this point the subwoofer sounded so low that the calibration ended in error. I disassembled my wiring and returned everything.
I already had another kit for the surround speakers which has worked for many years and didn't seem to interfere with this second kit.
This product has... Right size for my space, Easy to set up, Good build quality

What's great about it: Upbeat, nice arrangements
What's not so great: It's not great. It's pop.
This is my first Bruno Mars CD. I don't usually listen to stations that play him, so I was glad to see him on SNL some time ago. I wouldn't have tried the CD if it weren't for the Deal of the Day @ $5. I'm glad I got it, and I enjoyed the songs after playing them in the car a few times. However, I don't feel I'll be listening to it a year or two from now.
P.S.: "Just The Way You Are" from Billy Joel is better, great really. Bruno's is just very nice.

What's great about it: Quicker actions in several applications
What's not so great: Hand position can be painful after a while.
I bought this trackpad with my first mac, as I had seen a friend working the "magic" of using different gestures and numbers of fingers to improve the mouse actions. The other motive is the small amount of "real state" it takes on the desk compared with a mouse and mousepad.
The installation was effortless, the battery seems to be holding on forever, and getting used to the different gestures didn't take long. However, for games you'll probably prefer to use the mouse.
The slanted design matches the keyboard, but I think it would be more ergonomic if it were just flat on the desk. I notice that my hand position will eventually lead to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome! I'll have to improvise something to make it flat.
I think the price is high for its use, and I bought it because I was already buying the computer, so I decided to just go for it! I do not regret buying it, and the trackpad has some advantages over the mouse, and for normal use I'm forcing myself to stick with this choice.
In summary, buy this if you know it will help your normal workflow. Otherwise, stick with the mouse.

Will this work with a 15 year old Kenwood Sub?

The transmitter-receiver kit works to send the signal, but the receiver is not an amplifier, so your subwoofer needs to be (must have a power cord of its own). The wire has RCA plugs, so if you have speaker-wire you will need to buy an RCA-speaker-wire kit as well, which you will find at any electronics parts store.

Is is compatiable with the Kilpsh 450 subwoofer?

Will it work with he Kilpsh 450 subwoofer? I bought the transmitter and could not get it to paired with the subwoofer?
You need to explain a bit more. The pairing of transmitter-receiver is fairly straight-forward, and the kit comes paired from the factory. I did have an issue because my subwoofer was not self-powered and the receiver was not strong enough to drive it.

Compatible with other Rocketfish wireless?

I already have wireless surround speaker setup from Rocketfish. Will the subwoofer kit work okay right alongside the surround kit. I'm especially worried about having the two transmittters practically on top of each other. Thanks. Monday, April 01, 2013 5:52AM
Although this question is several months old by now (09/26/2013), I will answer it for the record:
Yes, it's compatible. I already had a rocketfish surround speaker kit (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/rocketfish-universal-wireless-rear-speaker-kit-black/8275528.p?id=1171058476489&skuId=8275528) and as you pointed out, the other transmitter must be right next or on top of the other one. This posed no interference in my case, although my subwoofer didn't work well because it doesn't have its own amplification and the wireless receiver box is not powerful enough to drive it (but I could hear some sound coming out).

Can I use two?

I would liek to know if I can use two for two subwoofers, running in stereo?
No. Each kit is somehow digitally connected (they "talk" to each other) so one 1-to-1 is possible. If you have more than one they do not interfere.
Furthermore, the whole concept of small speakers and a separate subwoofer is that people can't tell where the lower frequencies are coming from, so there's no stereo effect when you have 2 subwoofers.

does this unit work with a 2.1 boston acustic speaker system?

and if not then what can I use to transmit the signal, because I do not have a area or place to put the equipment.
would this product work? Model: RF-WHTIB SKU: 8275528 ?
It seems like you have 3 questions here:
1) Would the subwoofer wireless kit work for your BA 2.1 system?
2) What product would work?
3) Would RF-WHTIB work?
Answers:
1) If the subwoofer is self-powered (has a power cord that plugs into the wall) I'd say it would work. If there's latency (signal delay) as reported by many reviewers, I believe your system can't be adjusted and you'd have to decide to live with the delay or return the product.
2) This is a good product, but there are others just like it, although this is a simple connection, so I doubt the results would be different.
3) No. This is a surround speaker system (supports small, weak speakers) so it wouldn't have enough power to drive your subwoofer. I have one of these and it works very well for the rear speakers.

What are the dimensions?

Just looking for the size of the transmitter and receiver.
Indeed the spec description is seriously lacking. I don't have them with me here, but they are about the size of 2 iphones stacked on top of each other: approximately 4"L x 3"W x 3/4"H. You can infer the size based on the RCA connectors in the rear of each unit.

Can it be used for surround and subwoofer - 3 in a system?

Can several "Subwoofer Transmitter/Receiver Kit"s be used in a home theater subwoofer and rear channels?
This would not be ideal, as the subwoofer kit seems to have some frequency restrictions on playback. There's another kit for this, which I also use: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/rocketfish-universal-wireless-rear-speaker-kit-black/8275528.p?id=1171058476489&skuId=8275528

Can I use 1 - sender with 3 - receivers? If I can, what is the price/part number for the additional receivers?

Although there's little technical information about the inner works of this system, the senders and receivers are paired-up, so I don't believe it's possible. Although they are labeled simply as "sender" and "receiver", they "talk" to each other (the sender light is red if the receiver is not on and changes to blue when the receiver is connected, so the receiver "tells" the sender it's up). This is done so that you can have more than one system without interference. I have the surround speakers connected though another kit from rocketfish and they worked well with this second transmitter/receiver connected.
I should say that my subwoofer didn't work well with this kit because (I believe) the receiver is not powerful enough to drive a subwoofer that is originally only powered by the amplifier (doesn't have it's own power cord).
