What's great about it: Easy to set up and fast WiFi connection
What's not so great: N/a
I have an Ipad2 with a bigger screen but wanted a slightly smaller screen but not a 7' screen which is too small. This 8' is perfect for taking on trips and carrying around. The display is excellent. Speed is super fast loading web pages and movies. Battery life is good. The multi window ability is an added value. The screen capture function is as easy as a swipe of the screen. I also like the swype ability that the Ipad2 does not have. Did I mention the SD micro card slot! I put my camera SD card into my Samsung Galaxy 3 pad and voila, I see all my pictures and can share immediately to social media. I would definitely recommend it.
This product is... responsive touch screen, Good sound quality, easy to set up, lightning fast, Perfect for Business, Variety of apps available, A nice compact size, Sharp graphics, Easy to navigate, Great screen size, Comfortable to hold

What is the difference between a tablet and Ipad?

Do they basically do the same things?
Yes they basically do the same thing. The Ipad has you tied to apple app store. The tablet has google play apps. I would say that almost all the apps you find in the apple store, you will find an equivalent in the google play store.

No it does not have a flash, but still takes very good pictures.
