What's great about it: it's a Samsung
What's not so great: Screen flickers at low light setting
I was real excited to set this up for a map device, recent changes to google maps made it somewhat of a boon, Also using other productive tools become useless without a data connection. Overall I am still unsure if I would rather have the model with 4G or a actually a large phone for that price in a business setting. For playtime Samsung has added some excellent features for chat, and multimedia consumption. It is appreciated that a microSD slot exists. Its a superior toy for the house but inadequate for the office.

What is the notetaking app like?

I have a college age student looking for a tablet with good notetaking capabilities. Does this tablet work well for taking notes?
The note app falls short of the one on an actual 'Note' device. If i could find a finger-writer input it might be acceptable but I haven't yet. I think the Note2 would be better for a student.
