This UPS is very well made, has a robust, easily replaceable battery, and would rate 5 stars if it weren't for the spacing of the receptacles on the unit. Three of them are too close together to allow plugging in the transformers that often power modems side by side. I had to purchase short, 12 inch, extension cords to allow me to plug in all the transformers that power the two modems and a router for my wi-fi and cable based phone. Other than this problem, which won't affect everyone, it is fantastic unit that I highly recommend. I bought two of the these units and in my other application the receptacle spacing was not a problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Size, speed, flexablity
What's not so great: fingerprints easily
Bought as a replacement for a netbook and am very pleased. Works great with the keyboard when typing is required and as a touch screen tablet for surfing. Fast, excellent battery life, and a great value.
This product is... responsive touch screen, Good sound quality, easy to set up, lightning fast, A nice compact size, Sharp graphics, Easy to navigate, Great screen size, Comfortable to hold

audible alarm

can the audible alarm be silenced ?
The alarm only sounds for a few seconds when power is interrupted. Then it is silent until the battery starts to run down if power is not restored, then it sounds to warn you that the battery is getting low on power.

Does this device have mounting holes on the back?

Does this device have mounting holes on the back?

This would allow someone to place screws in the wall or other surface, then securely mount the device to the wall or surface, by hooking it in to the holes.

Most powerbars I have come across do have this, just wondering if this one is any different.
Yes, the are mounting slots for vertical and horizontal mounting.
