Could I use this on ALL my tile, hardwood, plus clean my carpets???

Not to sound stupid, but being at sea for years, I am not clear on today's products. Last I knew, you had to purchase 2 different entities as far as machines go. I don't want to purchase yet another flop, and I don't want to spend a fortune, especially while I am in a rental home. I am looking for something that I can use on all floors. I could work on the kitchen tile and take it to the bedroom where there is carpeting without having to change out machines and go through a big process. Until I am able to find the machine of the future to vacuum and steam my tile, go into the bedrooms to do the vaccuum, as well as have the machine determine the stain, decide on it's own what it is and already have the right solution to get it out, I won't know what to purchase! Lol! In the meantime, like I said, I'm not aware of what these machines are capable of. Could someone please let me know if I'm on the right track and if I'm not, please direct me on the machine that will fit my needs? Ocean girl needs help!!! Thanks for any help I can get!
