I've owned it a little over a month and:
+Great Screen (Seriously top notch compared to most tablets)
+Micro SD Slot (Expandable Storage = 1 huge plus over IPADs for me)
+Snappy performance (For light tasks & games, email, & most everyday uses)
+Build Quality/Design (Subjective, but most who have seen it like it)

+ or - Android/Samsung software (Could be positive or negative depending on how familiar you are with Android and other Samsung products)
-Battery Life (Disappointing but not a deal breaker)
-Preinstalled Apps you can't delete (Sure you can disable them, but you can't delete them and save internal space / but there is a micro sd slot so....)

If you are looking for a mid size tablet (8.4" Screen) then this is a great combination of size and portability. In my case a 10" screen isn't justified over carrying my 13" laptop. A 7" screen, while easily portable, is not much better than my 5" screen phone. I use this mostly when I'm traveling (and occasionally around the house) as a media consumption device (Email, Web browsing, Netflix, Games, etc.) and it works great. It's not as feature packed as Samsung's new tablet line (Galaxy Tab S), but if you can get it on sale (under $280) I highly recommend it.

Free Storage
How much actual usable storage is there? I know with Galaxy S4 there was a big problem with the 16 GB models because you could only use about 7 GB.
Mine had about 11-12 GB of internal memory available fresh out of the box.
I added a 16GB micro SD card I already had to bump it up some.

Wireless capablities
Is this tablet wi-fi only?
This particular one is yes. I'm not sure if there are cellular versions available.

can you install microsoft office?

Unfortunately, Not yet.
This isn't a Samsung/Android issue as much as it is a Microsoft issue.
As of July/August 2014, several news reports say that Microsoft is working on an official Android tablet version of Office to go along with the IPad/Android Phone versions that are already available. It is expected to launch in "late 2014", so take that for what it's worth. In the meantime there are several Android options in the play store that will let you work with Office files. I hope this helps.
