What's great about it: Screen, Sound, Power, Processing, MicroUSB charging (no propriety charger!)
After using Android tablets for a couple of years, and Windows laptops at work, it's hard to wrap my head around the fact that I'm using a full blown Windows 8.1 system in my hands.
It took a little bit of configuration getting this guy into full tablet mode (with swiped screen unlock, so on), as you are customizing Windows the way you want to work with it.
Metro Mode mimics the Android experience (ie, apps) , with noticeable and nice differences. and improvements., but click over to Desktop mode (and dock the included keyboard) and it's like you are back to having a little snappy laptop. Very handy, and the hardware is quite capable of day to day stuff. In fact, I downloaded a boat racing game today from the MS store that ran so well, and looked so good, it blew my mind..
So pleased with this purchase, especially since I'll soon be able to run both Windows 8.1 and Android on this hardware, and bop back and forth between OSs via ConsoleOS.
You can keep your Surface Pros.. The T100 has the right price point for me. And did I mention it charges via microUSB? The same charger as the family cell phones.
I took the 32G model back after a couple of days and picked up the 64G version. I think it's going to make life in a dual-booting world easier.
This product is... responsive touch screen, Good sound quality, A nice compact size, Sharp graphics, Comfortable to hold
About me... Budget Conscious, Parent with kids
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great display, Long battery life, Great Sound, Full Sized Keyboard
What's not so great: No Skype - no biggie - No Bluetooth network connectivity (yet)
I was a MS network admin in a previous life and thought that the ChromeOS wouldn't be robust enough to do the things I need/like to do. I was wrong.
I am so happy with this HP 14 Chromebook that I've been rocking for a couple months now. There are RDP apps for this guy that work flawlessly when I need to bop down to my Windows gaming system, but frankly, it's a pretty rare occurrence.
The 14 inch screen is beautiful and I can see it without my glasses. Full sized keyboard. Huge touch pad. Wakes up and sleeps instantly. Speakers are great,
Performance? Don't know what to say. I've had 15 tabs going, music playing, videos streaming. Some foreround, some background. This Chromebook never skips a beat.
Oh, and it literally sips power. SSD, Kids play Club Penguin on it when they get home from school, I ride it for a couple of hours a night, and I have to plug it in every 4 days or so
Was thinking about getting one of the smaller 10 inch versions with the touch enabled screens and am so glad that I didn't. I've never felt the need to touch the screen. I've got a tablet for that.
Anyway, was just checking the price of this unit, as I'm going to buy another one of these for my tech challenged Mom (good bye malware related family tech support calls!),, and realized I should spread the word that the HP 14 Chromebook rocks!
PS. You don't use the HD much, so don't the 16 gigs scare you. It's just for loading movies, before your flight.
This product is... Good sound quality, Perfect for Business, Big screen size, easy to set up, lightning fast
About me... Budget Conscious, Parent with kids, Gamer, Business Professional, know a bit about things
I would recommend this to a friend!

How can i install Quickbooks Pro 2014 on this computer?

No. Chromebook supports web-based applications. If it's something you can browse to on-line, that will work. But you can't install traditional Windows/Apple applications on Chromebooks.
