is HDMI cable the only way to connect to tv?
I have older, non-HD, not-flat screen TV w/ red,yellow,white output cable/connection.
I connect the unit using RCA cables-red,yellow, white connectors the the DVD plays on the TV.

Will this remember the last place watched on multiple dvds?
For example, if I watch a movie on dvd "A" and quit half way through, and then watch a different movie on dvd "B" and quit half way through, will it remember where I left off watching on both of these dvd's or just one of them?
The unit will remember the location on the DVD if you do not remove the disc and just turn it off.
