I am very happy with the Elite 800. The sound quality is excellent and the headset seems to be constructed well. The features are outstanding. The Android app for my phone lets me change the settings on the headset while it is in use. Volume, mute, presets, sound levels/mixes, update firmware, you name it! Setting it up is NOT DIFFICULT IF YOU READ THE QUICK START GUIDE. It isn't what I would call plug and play, but it took less than 10 minutes following the directions. I was not unhappy with my Sony Pulse headset, but I am definitely glad I upgraded.

I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Keeps controllers charged, looks good, good price.

What's not so great: Controllers can be a LITTLE touchy to set on cradle.

I really like this charger. It fits in a fairly small space, keeps my contollers charged up, and frees up a USB port on my PS4. The stand fully charged a completely dead controller in about 2 hours. I was a little concerned about the "dongle" that attaches to each controller, but it is very small. It does not affect the feel of the controller at all. In fact, when I use the controller, my fingers do not touch the dongle. I don't even know it is there. There is only one negative thing I have noticed, and it is very minor. Somtimes when placing the controllers on the stand, I have to jiggle one of them a little to get it to seat on the charging contacts. It is not a big deal, because each charging port has a blue LED that lights up when there is good contact. This also may be due to the fact that I have my stand in a tight location and have to rotate the controllers to get them on the stand. Someone else may not experience this at all. Definately NOT a deal breaker.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Also do we get the 2 year warranty that it says on the Turtle Beach website as well?

Yes. I got my Elite 800's on 10/19 and I was able to receive the benefits. Turtle Beach did not have their website ready when I picked up my headset, but within a few days it was up and running. You will have to register the headset and upload a scan of your receipt and then they will provide a code to access the Elite program.

PS4 controller cord?

Does this require the 2.5mm to 3.5mm cord from the PS4 controller to the headset, or is it fully wireless via bluetooth?

It does not require the cord. I use mine without any wires. The headset communicates with the charging base. The base connects to the PS4 with USB and Optical cables (Both included). I also have the base connected to my PC via another USB cable so I can update the firmware when needed, but that connection is not required to use it.
