Got these for my son for Christmas. It's just about exactly 3 months later and they flat out don't work anymore. The device that they are plugged into recognizes them, but no sound comes out of either ear. They were well taken care of, placed on a table in the included bag when not in use. They don't even have any visible signs or scuff marks / wear. They simply stopped working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
