What's great about it: Great suction, great price, good on pet hair, good for upholstry
What's not so great: Cord gets hot, no brush attachment
Just bought this vacuum yesterday, and so far I love it but i did notice that if you dont pull the cord out all the way while vacuuming, the cord gets insanely hot. It worked excellent on stubborn cat hair that gets embedded into the couch. It also has great suction on carpets and hard floors. Lots of people reviewed that the cord it too short...its actually not too bad. I can reach the next two rooms without having to unplug. Guess it depends on the house. The extension wand could probably be a little longer but its manageable. No real complaints yet.....stand by though, its only day 1.

How much does this vacuum weigh?

15 lbs. Its lighter than some of the older designs and lighter than the Eureka bagless pet vac that my friend bought on the same day I bought this Hoover.
