I purchased this CD/radio for use in my cellar workshop. It satisfies my needs with one minor exception. Because it is used in the basement, the reception is not the greatest. I overcame this problem by sitting it on a high shelf near my workbench. I am very satisfied with the product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does it have an external antenna?

It has an attached telescoping FM antenna. The AM antenna is built in.

Is the plug on this a standard plug, or one of those big boxy adapter type plugs?

Looking for something with a regular plug to fit behind a bookcase. Is this one regular or boxy?
It has a standard two-prong AC power cord. It does not have a big power adapter to convert to a lower voltage.

Is the AM/FM tuner analog or LED digital?

This radio has a true digital tuner which locks into the frequency desired. It is not like the old analog type which may drift.
