Great quality for the price. Perfect for keeping several around the house for emergencies, as well as for use at night without waking others up. Great to give to kids as well but make sure you warn them not to point straight at someone's eyes as they can be pretty bright if pointed right at your eye.

I have a pretty crazy setup in my basement with a bunch of different A/V products from VCR to Laserdisk player, Blu-ray as well as Amazon Fire TV. I was looking for something that I can use with everything. Finally came across this one. It had some problem with my projector which was not listed, but I was able to program the remote after a few failed attempts. Ultimately the programming turned out to be pretty simple - I was thinking I had to program every button one at a time, but if you start with the power button and get it to successfully turn it on and off, the rest should work fairly seamlessly. I contacted support and they also added the device to their list of supported devices, but by that time I had already programmed it successfully so I stayed with the setup I have.
So now I can control my projector, receiver, VCR, laserdisk player, Blu Ray player, Set top box and Fire TV - all with one remote! Woo hoo!
Only problem I have is that the remote is not backlit, so its often difficult to find the right key in the dark, and I don't like having to turn on the light just to find where the fast forward is.
There is no separate key for fast forward (rewind) and next/prev chapters. You push and hold the FF key to activate next chapter. Has given me some fits as well.
Otherwise, its awesome!

Needed a flash drive which would fit in nicely with my blu-ray player as a data drive for auxiliary bluray disk content. This one was the right price and had all the space I needed to load in a bunch of itunesU videos that I can now watch on the big screen! Very fast write speed on my Mac with a USB3 port, no complaints. Almost invisible with the gray color and no hassles of losing caps as well. Fits perfectly among the jumble of cables, yet simple to pull out. The light is visible but not distracting. Overall a nice little drive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: 4GB at a good price
What's not so great: slow for cameras
Its only a class 2 - did not realize that. Not great for using in digital cameras, but works nicely for win7 readyboost.

Will the remote control apps (Netflix/Amazon) on Samsung smart tv?
Yup - it will simply become an IR remote for your Amazon smart TV. It does not have an accelerometer though - so if you have one of those intelligent remotes that detect motion, that will not work.

can this remote replace a logitech harmony 650?
I don't see why not - in fact if you programmed your 650 using the harmony app, you should be able to copy all your programming to the hub as well. The hub is a little better since it has built-in bluetooth so it can control Bluetooth devices like the Amazon Fire TV.

CAN YOU USE THE HARMONY SMART CONTROL WITH MY LAPTOP?
You can use your laptop to program it, which is what I did. You have to download the harmony app and connect the hub to your laptop via USB and you will be able to program all your devices using the laptop. I don't think you can use your laptop as a remote, however.

will this work on a Mac?
Works perfectly! I haven't tested write speeds but it was pretty fast copying about 10GB of iTunesU videos. Just be aware that if you are copying videos from a Mac, it will also create some hidden files and folders. There are tools that you can download that can clean these things up. My recommendation is HiddenCleaner.
