What's great about it: motivator, easy to use, easy to always keep on
What's not so great: Not the most accurate, doesn't track stairs
I picked up the Flex from Best Buy. So far I am enjoying the thing and attempting to test its accuracy. In general, it seems pretty accurate, but it definitely adds the occasional steps when sitting down or moving your arm.
The software itself is great. It has a real-time mobile app that tracks activity and a web interface to match. Be aware, this will only sync with certain phones with Bluetooth 4.0. The list is pretty limited right now. If your phone isn't compatible, you can always have it sync up to your computer with a bluetooth dongle.
I also want to mention that you can set a silent alarm. The Fitbit Flex will vibrate at the time you set.
The sleep monitor is decent and shows when you were awake and asleep. It is not as detailed as other apps like Sleep Alarm on iOS. It appears to be very accurate from my use with it.
The downsides? Well it doesn't track stairs. On the web interface it always shows "Curious about your daily claim?" but the Flex doesn't track this while many other Fitbit models do.

What's great about it: Small, touch screen, reliable, easy to use, no distractions, amazing battery
What's not so great: not backlit
I have three tablets, I don't need another. The problem is I can't read on any of them. I start reading and immediately get distracted with Twitter, Facebook, and Safari. I needed something that will allow me to read without distraction.
So I bought a Nook. It is simple to set up and works as advertised. Can't find many negatives about the Nook.
This product is... Keeps the right amount of e-books, A touch pad that works great, A nice compact size, Easy to download

What's great about it: Inexpensive, great sound quality, small in size
What's not so great: No subwoofer
If you are looking for inexpensive small speakers with amazing sound for your computer, than you have found them. The Bose Companion 2 Series II speakers are everything that one would need for their computer. The sound is amazing, even when played very loud the sound does not get distorted. The bass on the two speakers is still load and sounds great even though there is no separate subwoofer. I would recommend these speakers to anyone who is looking for small inexpensive speakers, but want superb sound.

What's great about it: barrery life, a lot of features, great browser, size
What's not so great: expensive, symbian, finger print magnet
The Nokia E71-2 is a great phone. When I first saw it online I thought it was ugly... When I finally bought the device and held it I found it was great looking. It is "mirror-like" and extremely thin. The phone feels like all metal and feels like it was made with quality. The downside of the mirror-like look is that it picks up fingerprints very easily.
The sound quality on the phone was great and the 3G signal is better than any other 3G phone I have used on AT&T. In Framingham, MA and Tampa, FL I was literally always covered. The web browser on the device is great and renders the page like it would on a computer.
The phones runs the Symbian operating system... some people love it, others hate it. I personally am not a fan and that is why I no longer use this phone. The look of the OS is outdated and is very simple. Compared to a BlackBerry, I feel that Symbian and its options are extremely limited. The E-mail on Symbian was horrible and I had to manually check it to read the emails.
All in all, it is a great phone if you like Symbian OS. You can always try it for 30 days and return it if it is not to your liking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I noticed one complaint in the customer ratings about incompatibility with U-verse. Does Best Buy or Slingbox have any information about this? I am a U-verse subscriber, and have no plans to change (I was a 13 year Dish sub, but couldn't get HD via Dish, so out it went...), so I would like to know before I spend $300 on this and it doesn't work.
Yes, this will work on the U-Verse DVRs. Slingbox has the remotes for the boxes and it works properly.

Is a sony vaio a good laptop for a student?
Well Nikki, it really depends on the specifications and what are you using it for. Student typically want a computer with a large hard drive so they can store music and pictures. I would also recommend a lot of RAM so you can do multiple things at once (like run browser, iTunes, AIM, etc.).
Sony makes a fantastic computer in general, but you really need to look at the specifications to make sure they fit what you are looking for.
