I purchased this with the hopes of firing up 2 additional monitors, unfortunately it never worked for me. I will return.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Too easy to set up
What's not so great: picture prints
I just received this printer yesterday and immediately set up it with zero hiccups. My only issue was that UPS dropped it in between some tight bushes and the bottom of the box was open:(. However, I checked for damage to the machine, there was none, so I checked the operation and all was good. The setup runs you through all cycles to ensure everything is working proper before registering. I am not impressed with the photograph prints, but I didn't purchase this to open up a photo lab. I will work her over for the next 30-days and update this post should performance deteriorate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do all printers that have fax capability require phone line/land line?

Need faxing ability along with printer/scanner, but have no phone line in house due to use only of cell phones. Is there an option other than installing land line?
