I bought these headsets confident they would last in good working order for at least a couple years and while the sound did the cords started to break off an stop working very quickly. The ear phone pads and headphones were replaced in first year under warranty due to tears that developed and foam started to come out. Then 1 year later the earpad cover started to loose the outer skin such that the white skin was getting all over my face, ear and clothes. Since i was no longer under warranty i was on my own to have this continue. I have bough Sony previously for $50 vs these for $250 and they lasted much longer and didnt experience this type of poor workmanship. So long beats...no more back to Sony for me. If you want quality material and good sound look elsewhere.

What's great about it: Set up and sound
What's not so great: Way overpriced.
I bought this sound bar thinking that it would be great for my LG 50" plasma on my fireplace mantle (btw I dont use fireplace so no worries about heat here! ) and after the calibration, set up ended up taking about 1hr from end to end.
I liked the remote, the optical connection, the wireless sub and the clean look. The sound was good...but here in lies the problem.
I have a Klipsch 2.1 Pro Media that I disconnected to make way for this sound bar and after listening to the Bose...the sound was not better than my Klipsch...mind you the separation of sound was a bit better, but with proper location i can simulate that with Klipsch somewhat. I noticed the sound bar also didn't pick up a lot of subtle sounds from the movies I watched on it like footsteps and background.
So I bought a DAC digital to Analog converter to pick up the Audio from my TV's optical cable and routed it to my Klipsch speakers using the RCA to Mini-phone Male Stereo Audio and plugged that into my AUX jack on the Klipsch speakers and the set up was just a s clean as Bose set up...not to mention $1500 cheaper since I already has Klipsch speakers...but even if you don't have those speakers and buy them to set up your home theater rest assured the sound quality will not be compromised.
Now you will not have a remote with the Klipsch, nor the wireless sub nor the optical cables also needed but you can easily get those from BB and still save a ton.
This product has... Easy to use controls, Good connection options

does this work on the pc flawlessly?

Wondering as I had bought ear force tangos from turtle beach late last year and despite them saying it would work it was plagued with issues.
Yes it does work once you connect it to USB port on your computer and it installs drivers. It was simply on Windows 7. However, as noted the sound is not worth the price tag on the 800 elite wireless headset.
