This panel has it all: amazing resolution, a very nice color gamut, jitter free up-scaling, an absolutely gorgeous screen, thinner than most cell phones and TERRIBLE LIGHT BLEED!
This is a known issue that Sony seems to simply ignore with this and the 55" 900C model as well. We've been through two panels now, and returned both. Unfortunately, the light bleed is so bad that even our teenage daughter who doesn't pay much attention to the quality of images on a tv mentioned it immediately as soon as the screen turned on.
Until Sony gets their quality control worked out on what was once a $5K panel, this one should just be pulled off the market. The manager of the local Magnolia department agreed, and even escalated our case to the regional Sony rep - and they haven't even bothered to call him back regarding the issue. Both of our sets were manufactured in October 2015 (some reports had said they had fixed the problem over the summer...but that is clearly not the case.)
We really REALLY wanted to love this TV - but it's glaring defect is just unacceptable, at any price.

My spouse has hated our previous refrigerator ever since moving into our home 7 years ago. It was a side by side (sorry - don't remember the brand now), counter depth design, which was required by the compact nature of our half galley kitchen layout. It was fair at temperature control, but it's single drawer would fall out of its runners and spill food all over the floor on a regular basis. It also had no in door water or ice making capacity.
We are currently in the closing stages of a complete kitchen remodel, and already updated our old gas range with a new one from the Frigidaire Gallery series. As a surprise birthday gift (and to eliminate the shouted expletives from the dreaded drawer in the old unit!) I decided to purchase this unit during the recent July 4th sale. The price reduction of almost $1,000 off MSRP was the final factor in deciding to go with this model.
Installation was delayed almost three weeks as it appears that purchases from BestBuy.com take a back seat to in store delivery. Timing wasn't critical for us, but if you need a unit sooner than later, you will want to be aware of this, and factor it accordingly into your purchase and delivery planning.
The delivery itself was fine, and the two technicians had our old unit out and the new in in under half an hour. Though their set-up was limited to placing the unit in place, attaching the handles, and plugging in the power cord - that's it. I was left to remove all the protective film from the entirety of the doors and handles, as well as all the same and foam packing as well from the interior. I was also left to hook up the water line for the water and ice maker functions. None of this was a deal-breaker of course, but would have been nice to have had them take care of this and remove the packaging and protective material along with the old fridge. I filled our large outdoor recycle bin almost half way with all the stuff pulled off and out of the unit during set up.
Shelf and drawer installation was very intuitive and easy. And initial temperature set-up, and water line priming was simple and straight forward. No surprises in those regards at all. The LED lighting is bright with a nice fade-up effect when opening the door(s). The water filter came pre-installed from the factory, and the carbon air filter was a simple slip in installation.
Water flow isn't spectacular, but certainly is adequate to fill an average glass (and anything is better than nothing - which it was we dealt with before on our old unit.) Ice production is quite slow, but in reading previous reviews of this refrigerator, this wasn't any surprise. Time will tell how the water and ice dispensers hold up, as it seems that this is the one recurrent complaint of prior owners. Here's to hoping Frigidaire has made a redesign by now to fix the issues they've had here in the past.
All in all, the unit looks great in the kitchen, particularly next to the matching range. Very modern and sleek - understated, but classy. The display is easy to see, the water light just the right brightness at night, and the storage and layout well thought out. It appears that this counter depth Gallery line model shares most of the features, and design elements of Frigidaire's top of the line model costing almost $2,000 more.
It's just our first day with it - but we're very happy initially. And yes, the spouse LOVES it!

Bought this with new Asus tower for home use. Replacing an old Gateway 24" HD screen. Honestly, the image was nicer on the Gateway (even after 8 years - it's still pristine with no dead pixels etc.), likely due to a higher pixel count, in a smaller frame.
The only issue with the older screen was rather bad back light bleed around the edges - which it had from day 1. The Asus screen is notably better in that regard.
As other reviews have pointed out however, this screen is not a great choice for true color representation or for anyone interested in photo/video processing work. Apparently some users have reported an ICC profile that helped a bit that was once downloadable from the Asus site...but it appears to be no more as of late 2014. Pity.
Aesthetically, it is a nice looking bit of work. The minimalist bezel looks good, but remember that the actual screen image does NOT extend to the edges - leaving about a half an inch of black around the image at all times. There is more visible artifacting, like a poorly compressed jpg image, with the sharpness of this monitor turned up to anything more than 20-30%.

Picked this tower up as the trusty Gateway HTPC gave out after seven long years of heavy use. All in all, not a bad machine. Decent specs on the hardware, though would have liked a touch more out of the graphics card and a four more gigs of RAM. For the price, a SSD would also be nice for caching, but not a deal breaker for me. Still, a solid package overall.
Biggest gripe is with the Windows 8.1 software. What a disaster. Coupled with the usual bloat ware that all the big makers throw in, it's taken a couple days to get things sorted out and running well. Will look forward to Windows 10.

Is the light bleed taken care of now-I have a 65'' sony being delivered today

No.

As of late December 2015, the light bleed is still a MAJOR issue with this screen (both the 55" and 65" panels 900C)

What accessories are required to be purchased for a new installation to be complete?

Do I need a water line kit or power cord, etc...?
You'll need a water line connection, and a 1/4" line from the wall/floor to the back of the refrigerator if you don't already have one. And a grounded (NON GFCI) outlet for power. That's it.

for the water line on refrigerator model FGHF2366PF, what size compression fitting does it use, 1/4" or 5/16, or 3/8"

1/4" - which I believe is the standard for this fitting with most brands.

Is there a DVI input on this monitor?

In the product description it mentions a DVI-D input along with 2 HDMI and a VGA input. However after looking at the pictures, it seems that there is actually no DVI input, just the HDMIs and VGA.

but I did notice that it says it comes with a DVI to HDMI adapter. Is this what they mean?
Yes. The cord uses DVI-D from the computer, to HDMI on the back of the monitor. Bear in mind, the cord is rather short, so just getting a standard HDMI cable may better suit your needs, depending on the size of your workspace.
