What's great about it: Price
What's not so great: Menu
After my LG's main board failed, or in layman's terms, the TV fried, I decided to go back to Sharp since I still have two other (14 and 9 years old and still working) that had impressed me.
Unfortunately, I believe Sharp has gone the way of the cheap like most. Especially frustrating was the menu, with only four screen modes; advanced wasn't much more either.
The other frustrating thing was how sluggish Channel switching is.

What's great about it: Features
What's not so great: wireless coverage
After my ancient 2Wire modem/router fried, I had to replace it in a rush. I had little time to research, so I bet on price and brand name. I hoped that the few occasions of weak signal and dead spots would disappear, considering the allegedly superior modem/router.( I'm in an average single family suburban shack.)
Nothing of the kind, no improvement of signal strength, and more that one device streaming throws a wrench in the system - something the BB associate assured me should not happen with the dual-band
super-duper-sonic gizmology.
I'm considering exchanging it for the twice cheaper unit and getting a booster.

Does this modem work with CenturyLink/Dish.net?

I currently have CenturyLink/Dish net for DSL service. Will this modem/router work with VDSL?
Works with CenturyLink DSL, not sure if the added Dish would affect it.
