Only at Best BuyThis stereo speaker selector allows you to connect and control up to 4 pairs of speakers and delivers 40W RMS power per channel.

rocketfish speaker selector

should the top of this speaker selector be getting hot.
If the speaker selector is getting hot, odds are you have way too much resistance and/or power running through the selector. Be sure to read the specifications of resistance (ohms) and how much power it can handle and cross reference with the speakers and Amplifier that you are using.

Wireless speaker to hook up Sonos system

I have a Sonos system with wired speakers using 2 amp connects and wondering if I go with an outdoor wireless speaker to use with Sonos.
Bob, I would personally go with a wired outdoor speaker such as Definitive Technology Outdoor speakers and wire them to a Sonos Amp as well. depending on your resistance of your existing speakers you could simply purchase a much less expensive speaker selector and connect the speakers to the speaker selector and you wouldn't have to purchase another connect amp. Depending on the quality of sound you prefer of course would play into what speakers and how much money you would be willing to spend. Enjoy!
