There are many streaming sticks, but with the amount of android phones and tablets out there, this one seems to have the widest suppert. My friends can come over look up their video and cast it to my TV. it is small and portable i just need to pocket it and take it to my parents' place during my vacation and voila, i have netflix. I don't even need to bring the cable because it uses industry standard microusb, which every household has at least one spare (even some of my iphone friends have these cables from old blackberries, gps, bluetooh earpieces, etc, go industry standard!!)
I would recommend this to a friend!

My first smartwatch purchase was actually a Moto 360. But after wearing it for a few weeks, I realized the battery life is too short for me it lasts me through the work day, but if I wanted to go to gym or go out with friends, it will be dead by the time I get home.
Enter the Gear Live, with the AMOLED screen I could have the screen on (dimmed) the whole time and it will last me more than 24 hours. Yes, charging everyday is a hassle, but so is charging my smartphone everyday, I don't mind. The rectangular watch face is growing on me and in my *personal* opinion, I like it much more than the round face. Also another unforeseen advantage was the faster CPU, I didn't even realize how smooth it was, till I put the gear live side by side with moto 360. I would highly recommend this watch
I would recommend this to a friend!

gear live vs. gear 1 or 2

I would like to know what are the pros and cons of the GEAR LIVE compared to the GEAR 1 and 2?
Biggest advantage is Android Wear platform that is going to grow. at the moment gear 1 and 2 may have more functionalities, but other than samsung, no one else is supporting it. Google and the communities of developers are behind Android Wear.

Can you answer your phone as you can with the gear 2?

You will get vibrations when call comes in, you can swipe to reject or accept the call. Should you accept the call, you will still need to pull out your phone. You cannot carry a phone conversation on the watch since there is no speaker on watch, just accept or reject.
