What's great about it: ALmost everything
What's not so great: Would be a bigger bargain if just a little cheaper
Been buying PC's for many years and this one is simply the best. Young people say "Awesome" a lot and this one is awesome if you have any knowledge of what is available in laptops. This laptop (Yoga 2 Pro) at $1,200 is a much better deal that the MS Surface Pro 2 which costs $1000 but when you add the $125 detachable keyboard it is only $75 more. But you get a great keyboard plus an plus a 250 GB SSD and a 13" screen at an unbelievable resolution and an i7. AWESOME.
Try it with the MS Wedge Bluetooth mouse.
I priced a similar MAC Pro at the Apple store for $2000. But why would you buy that???
This product is... Good sound quality, A touch pad that works great, Big screen size, A nice compact size, lightning fast, bargain for high end quality product
About me... Budget Conscious, Technology guru, Regularly process large video or graphics files, retired
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can I lower the resolution to 1366x768 to match my dual monitor Lenovo ThinkVision LT1421?

I am currently using a Lenovo IdeaPad U300s 13.3" inch screen. I am pairing it with my Lenovo ThinkVision LT1421, as a dual monitor, and it works just perfectly. The maximum resolution on my U300s laptop is 1366x768.

There are many reasons why I would like to upgrade to a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro, but one of the deal breakers would be if I will have any difficulty pairing it with my dual monitor, since I use it almost all the time. I understand that the Yoga 2 Pro has a amazing 3200x1800 screen resolution, but my concern is that I might have a headache using two screens with different resolutions, and I am willing to lower the resolution for the sake of being uniform

If I lower down the resolution on the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro to 1366x768, will the screen resolution be a little distorted since the screen on the Yoga 2 Pro is not really made for this? Or will it work just perfectly fine, as if I was using my U300s?

Thanks!
I had a similar issue with my Yoga 2. I have an 19" HP monitor with a much lower native resolution. I hooked it up as an alternate monitor which means the Lenovo screen turns off on that setting and the resolution on the HP drops down a lot. I got big icons and big fonts but really not an issue for me because I am using it for viewing typing in Word that I do a lot. Now when I pull the HDMI cable out the Lenovo resets to native resolution which I like. I do not want to muck around changing the Lenovo resolutions for the HP set up to get smaller fonts. I do not use the HP all the time so I am happy.
