I purchase this to replace a chromebook and now I'm regretting it. I have a Windows desktop at home that I had built and figured kill 2 birds and get a tablet / windows laptop at a decent price (was on sale for $249).
I got home and set everything up. I installed no extra programs except the google chrome browser and google drive. The computer ran slow under windows 8.1 so I updated to windows 10 hoping it would be faster. No dice. I figured it was the 5200RPM HDD so I upgraded that to a 128GB Toshiba SSD (had better specs then the PNY and was a decent price). Still, slow. I am regretting this "upgrade" and unfortunately in the time I spent tinkering with it I missed my return window. I had done a clean install of windows 10 and updated drivers and used MS edge browser which still is very sluggish. Takes literally a minute to load gmail. And half the time it times out or doesn't load pages at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: It does everything I need for on the go.
What's not so great: Bluetooth audio lag when watching videos
Pros:
-Ultra light weight.
-Fanless and doesnt burn my legs.
-Quick boot up
-4G LTE mobile data through Verizon.
-Amazing screen.
-Great audio both built in and through headphones.
-Micro USB power adapter.
-USB ports
-Google.
Cons:
-When watching videos and using a Bluetooth headset there is noticeable audio lag, but I just plug in regular.
-Small internal storage (fixed with getting a USB drive)
-4 hour battery life. (but I can always plug in a car charger if needed)
Overall I enjoy using this device over any tablet (Traded in a tablet for the device). It's google, which syncs with my PC and phone flawlessly.
This product is... Good sound quality, A touch pad that works great, A nice compact size, easy to set up, lightning fast

I would recommend this to a friend!

If I connect my Chrome to my printer can I also keep it connected to my desktop computer?
Yes. If your printer is network capable you can also set up google print to be able to print from your phone or chromebook anywhere.

Do I have to activate the 4G?

I can use this as a wifi only computer, right? If I do that will the price change?
There is a wifi only version. You can buy this without activating the 4G but you will pay the full $279
