I love this thing . Workes great. More tv then ever.Old school and new programs. I got rid of all my paid channels on my cable. Best move I made to save money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am ignorant re streaming. One of your products said that I could stream tv shows to my tv. I'm interested.! What do I need to get to start it. ?
you have to subcribe to hulu or netflix from the app store on your roku.

Is there a econimical device like the Roku that is also a digital conveter for older TVs?
Is there a econimical device like the Roku that is also a digital conveter for older TVs? I need one that is compatable with Timewarner cable.
A digtal converter is for over the air tv .It was to converter tv signals. Roku is for your WiFi internet. So you going to have to buy a converter your tv. Which are cheap.

Roku stick- can not get it to connect
I called Roku and the representative had me try many things, none of which worked. He said that the Roku couldn't be more than 25 feet from the router. Any farther than that and he said it wouldn't pick up a signal. When I bought this product at Best Buy, I was told it was very easy to use. All that I have read says it is easy to use and no where have I seen it mentioned that you have to be so close to your router. Some people say that they have five Roku in their homes, so they couldn't all be within 25 feet of the router, could they? I really want this to work so that I can get rid of my cable. Has anyone else had this problem? I have Verizon fios high speed internet.
I have a netgear router. On charter. And I have no problems. I would call the cable company.
