What's great about it: seemed okay when it came on for 20 mins.
What's not so great: The charger from the factory is terrible quality and would not charge
I bought the nabi jr 16gig. for my daughter for Christmas. I decided I should go ahead and set everything up on it so I took it out of the box and turned it on. It came with maybe 30% charged. As far as operating it seemed pretty good for a kid. Only down fall is it does not have Google Play store. You can however find a way to get the amazon store on it. The problem is that I placed it on the charger for around 30 Hours, Picked it up to show a friend what I bought and it would not even come on. Finally after missing with it for an hour and plugging it in an outlet and then straight to a computer I was finally able to get it to come on. Once it was on I realized the cord is very touchy. Pretty much had a short in it straight out of the box. The cord is way to cheap for the price you are paying for this tablet. Needless to say it appears my daughter will not get to play with the tablet until after Christmas. I RESEARCHED TABLETS FOR KIDS FOR ALONG TIME AND I WISH I WOULD HAVE CHOOSE A DIFFERENT BRAND!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What age group of kids is this for

What age group of kids is this for ?
Depends kids seem to me crazy smart with electronics now. My 2 year old can unlock my smart phone, find her games on it, and also call people by looking at the pictures in the contacts. So with that being said I feel this is for 2-4 or 5. I would think by 5 you may want to upgrade to the next step up.
