Logitech Wireless Mouse Marathon M705 lets you power on... and on. It uses less power than comparable wireless mice from other companies, so you'll go up to three full years between battery changes.¹ And it uses a tiny wireless receiver that stays plugged in to your computer, so your mouse is ready to go-whenever, wherever, and for as long as it takes. Plus, hyper-fast scrolling means you'll fly through long documents to find what you need in a flash. Advanced Optical Tracking means you'll get smooth, responsive cursor control. And the sculpted, right-hand shape means you'll be as comfortable finishing up as you were getting started.

After eight years my first Marathon mouse started acting up and needed to be replaced, and I didn't hesitate to buy another. I use it for eight to ten hours every work day and seldom bother to turn it off overnight. The paperwork claims that a set of batteries will last up to three years, but the pair that came with it lasted almost five.
I often have to look at large Excel worksheets, and the ability to change from free wheel to click and being able to side scroll really come in handy. I also really like the button under my thumb that shows me every window I have open, making it easy to switch from one to another.
On my recommendation, a few of my workmates and my son have bought M705's, and they all seem happy with them as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery Life

I'm not happy with the battery life of the mouse that came with my new apple computer, and wondering if anyone out there can compare the two with the battery life of this mouse, or would it be better for me to upgrade on a new keyboard and mouse combination.
I don't know about the mouse that came with your Apple computer, but using the Marathon Mouse eight to ten hours every work day and seldom turning it off when I leave, the pair of batteries that came with it lasted me almost five years.
