What's great about it: Ease of use, nice screen, side speakers
What's not so great: Needs more internal memory
After looking @ several different tablets I decided to purchase the Galaxy Tab 2 with the 10 inch screen (anything less than 10 was out of the question). I made the right choice.
Straight out of the box the set-up was easy and effortless. Getting onto the internet (wifi) was a breeze and I'm still amazed how fast it is. I really enjoy the speakers that are on the side versus on the back (cell phones) it makes it so much easier to hear whatever I'm listening to. The screen is clear, the touch is very responsive and the clarity is great.
I do wish that there was more internal memory for games and such. Maybe w/an update this will change.
I thoroughly enjoy this tablet!
This product is... responsive touch screen, Good sound quality, easy to set up, lightning fast, Variety of apps available, A nice compact size, Sharp graphics, Easy to navigate, Great screen size, Comfortable to hold

My Verizon Razr Maxx has a built in hotspot. Can I use my Verizon Hotspot phone to connect the galaxy tab 2 10.1 to the internet?

I'd like to save a few hundred bucks and buy a best buy product or similar for $250, rather than purchase the same galaxy tab 2 10.1 at the Verizon store and spend $500.
Yes you can. You may have to go to the settings tab on your tablet to make sure it's connected (that shouldn't be a problem) and you'll be surfing!

Basicall HOW TO USE!!!!!!

I do NOT feel there is enough help in the way of a usage book for us beginners. I NEED help just knowing HOW to get around on the tablet. The instruction booklet is sooooooo little and does NOT cover hardly anything. Just the basics - I need help - like getting books from Amazon - I have read three or four but each time getting a new book is a struggle. I want help of SKYPE also and even the camera - how to erase and how to pass on. How to pass on pictures A LOT.
JuLee, your best bet is to go online and find more in-depth instructions. I would start there (probably the Samsung website), hopefully, they can answer your questions.
