The Panasonic video baby monitor, is a great piece of technology for anyone who has a baby. This device makes life so much easier, and enables me to get stuff done around the house.
To start off, the baby monitor doesn't use wifi at all, so there's no set up required. Instead, it uses the 2 devices to connect and talk to each other. The 2 devices that are included in the box are, the baby monitor and the camera. There is also a camera mount included, in case you want to mount it to the wall. I found that mounting the camera limited my use of it to one room, so instead I just place it in the room where my kid will be. The camera look looks like a little android robot, it can move up and down, side to side, and zoom in and out for your viewing. This is all controlled by the 3.5"in monitor.
The features on the baby monitor are pretty impressive, for example there is a motion sensor and sound sensor, both of these can be configured in setting on the baby monitor...There is also a two-way walkie talkie that lets you talk to whoever is by the camera. There is also a noise maker built into the camera, this can be configured to play lullabies, or sound effects. The noise and sound sensor are very sensitive by default, especially the noise (it picks up a ceiling fan as noise). Again this can be configured in the setting, but I never was able to find a good setting, to where is didn't notify me ever 2 seconds about a noise - so I ended up just turning that off.
The Picture quality of the monitor is pretty decent, and it has built-in night vision so you can see the baby in the dark no problem. There is also a temperature gauge at the top of the monitor that lets you know the temp of the room that your camera is in. The range is also very nice, I had no problem with the signal no matter where I was in the house (both up stairs and down). Being able to adjust the camera from the monitor is also a nice feature, incase your little one is like mine, and likes to squirm around in her bed. The monitor also comes packed with a rechargeable battery, that last a good while before you have to charge it, plus it comes with the usb cable to recharge it.
Overall, the Panasonic Baby Monitor is a very useful tool for anyone who wants to keep an eye on their child, while being able to do other stuff around the house. It has all the features one could ask for to monitor you child, plus the sounds help them sleep. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a baby monitor.

There are some advantages to the Corsair Void RGB headphones, but they are many disadvantages to them as well. While some of the features make these appealing, the disadvantages can be deal breakers.
First off lets start with the fit and comfort, the headphones were not designed very well in my opinion. They have a very wide headband with medal bars on each ear, which makes them swivel. Due to this design, they are very bulky and the weight of them is so unbalanced that they slide down from your head. The ear pieces are made of a cloth mesh, which is fine for the most part, (although if they used the same material that the mic is made out of, this might make them stay on your ears better). The mic which does not detach is made of a rubberized material, you can move it up to auto mute it, or turn it on by keeping it in the down position. There is a volume toggle located on the left ear which can also be pressed in to activate 7.1 surround or stereo sound.
The headphones can be connected to either your PC or a PS4, but if connected to the PS4 there is no volume controls, you'll have to change the vol through the controller. When you connect them to your PC, you want to go and download the software from their website called icue. Through this software is where you can customize the lighting, as well as the lighting effects. I'm not really sure of the point to lighting on the ears, as you can't even see it...
The sound of the headphones are actually pretty good. The 7.1 surround effect sounds pretty good and is well simulated. There is a good amount of bass to the headphones, as well as the treble is good as well. Corsair seemed to have done a good job calibrating these.
Overall, the Void RGB headphones are not the best gaming headphones out there, as there are too many flaws that outweigh the pro's. The biggest issue for me was the way they fit (or don't fit in my case). These were made just too bulky with not enough support to stay on my head. Also the lack of volume controls for the PS4 is really annoying as well. Although, when I managed to get them to stay on my head, they do sound quit nice. Sadly, I would not be able to recommend these to anyone though.

The Corsair K57 is a decent keyboard with plenty of features. The keys are raised a little higher than I would like, but I eventually got used to them. They don't make a click sound when typing, and I found that they are spaced apart just right as to not double press another key. The included wrist rest is a really nice touch, as it severely saves my hands from cramping up while typing.
The K57 can be programed with custom lighting, as well as custom macro keys through the free Corsair software. The lighting really grabs your eyes as it's very clean looking. Unlike many backlit keyboards the keys don't have solid spaces with no light between them, instead there is a solid plate that has LED's shining underneath which gives a much cleaner look. The keyboard also has your basic media controls, like pause, play, skip, volume etc.
There is actually 2 ways to connect the keyboard to your computer, you can use the 2.4ghz usb dongle that's included, or you can connect it using the built in bluetooth. Both methods work very good, as I didn't experience any lag at all.
Overall, Corsair's K57 is a solid keyboard that offers plenty of customization and feels comfortable to use. The included wrist rest is a great add on, and the custom led lighting is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a decent gaming keyboard.

I have used Adobe Production Premium cs5.5 for years, after my PC crashed and broke down, I was no longer able to use that program. So I needed an alternative for the software without breaking the bank. So I decided to try Adobe Elements, only because I was already familiar with Adobe's editing suite and didn't feel like learning a new program.
To my Surprise Premier Elements is actually pretty good. It has almost all of the basic features, as well as a few advanced editing tools available. My biggest concern was if I was going to be able to edit with multiple audio/video tracks on my timeline, indeed I am. You can add as many tracks as you want. This is a key feature for me because I like to cut out pieces of my movie and place them on another track, so I don't lose track of it. The way you edit in this program is the same way you edit in the full version. You have your timeline with all your clips, you have your effects panel with transitions etc, then you have your preview screen in the top center of the screen. So far I am very pleased with premier elements, as it has all the tools I need to edit and works really good.
Photoshop Elements is where I'm a little skeptical about. The idea is there, plus they added a lot of cool features to the latest release, but the execution and performance are lacking. I found my MacBook Pro lagging pretty bad when using this program, and it also got extremely hot. Some of the new features in the auto creations are great idea..Like the black and white enhancer, and the depth of field functions. When I did try to use some of the built-in auto creations, I didn't have very much luck. I tried to use the color correction option and it didn't do anything but make the photo lighter or darker. The problem with Photoshop Elements, is that it takes away many of the important features of the full program, and turns it into a program with basic photo features.
Overall, I am truly impressed with Premiere Elements, as it saves me a ton of money and gives me all the tools that I need. On the other hand, I didn't really care for Photoshop Elements all that much. That's not to say it's entirety useless..It actually has a lot of cool features. It's just not for me. I would definitely recommend this software for anyone looking for an editing program without breaking your bank.

The Corsair Virtuoso wireless headset has many different features and functions, unfortunately it really only sounds good when used for PC gaming.
The headset was designed pretty well. It looks very sharp and is made of good quality materials. It fits pretty comfortably on my head and does a good job blocking out sound from your environment. Although I do wish they would have used a little more padding over the speakers, as it kind of feels hard pressed up against your ears. The lights on the side of both ears are LED lit and can be customized from the software on your PC. Although, I'm not really sure why they added these lights as the user can not even see them. The detachable mic is a nice feature, there is also a mute button on the button of the mic. There is also an LED ring on the tip of the mic that shines red if muted and green if unmuted, this is a great feature that I found very helpful.
The headset comes with a nice USB C cable that attaches to the headset to charge the 20 hour built-in rechargeable battery. There is also an aux cable included as well as a USB dongle to make it wireless. The Headset can be used on both PS4 and PC in wireless mode, other devices require you to connect it via aux cable.
The only way to fine tune the EQ and the lighting on the headset, is through the free software that you have to download on your PC. This is actually pretty good software that has a ton of useful features..Such as the ability to see you PC core temp, as well as the ram and processor speed, all displayed on a nice little realtime graph.
I first tested these out on my PS4 pro to see how well they sound while gaming online. The sound was very undesirable to say the least. The volume came out very flat with very little bass, while the voice and sound effects were ear piercing. No matter what I did I could not find a level that made it enjoyable for me to use these.
The next device I tested out was my iPhone, I used the lighting to aux jack and plugged in the headset. Just like the PS4, the sound was very poor. The treble was way too high and the bass was almost non existent.
Lastly, I tried the headset out on my PC and this time I played around with the EQ through the software to see if it made a difference. I would like to mention that this headset is also capable of 7.1 surround sound. I first tried watching a movie, then tried listening to music, neither of which sounded very good at all. Then I started Battlefield 4 up and that's when the headset really came to life. The detail and clarity in every sound was amazing, as well as the 7.1 surround effect was very good. Voices and music sounded very clear and not ear piercing, sound effects provide plenty of bass..I mean the sound seemed to be expertly tuned. I tried out a couple more games on my PC and the headset sounded really good with all of them.
So overall, while the Virtuoso headset is compatible with PS4 and other devices, its main purpose is really only for PC gaming. But when you do use them for PC gaming, boy do they sound amazing. That being said, I would definitely recommend these to any PC gamer looking for a good quality headset.

The Sonance 2-ch outdoor speaker system sounds amazing, and really puts out some good quality sound.
The speakers are made of some of the best quality that I've seen in awhile. The woofers are made out of carbon fiber which makes them sound incredible, as well as lets them hold up through the most intense weather. The casing is also very durable with no openings for leaks or moisture build up.
The Sonos wireless amp provides plenty of watts for the speakers, plus you can access all the music in the world with the many different streaming services through the Sonos app. The amp can be set up to either your home theater and/or just your outdoor speaker system. The ability to group more Sonos speakers to the system is a big plus, and through the app you can control each room separately or siamotainously. The only problem I have with the Sonos amp, is that there is no power off button. In order to turn off the system, you manually have to unplug the power cord from either the wall or the amp. This is a major pain if you don't have easy access to the power cord. Even know the Sonos website says the amp consumes little power while not playing music, I don't feel comfortable leaving the amp on all day 24/7. This could cause the amp to wear out faster and have a shorter lifespan.
The system is all controlled by the Sonos app, from there you register your free account and then connect all your music services. If you have an iPhone with the latest iOS, then you could use airplay to stream your iTunes library to the system. There is definately no shortage of music on the Sonos app, it even had streaming services that I've never heard of. While some of the streaming services require a paid account, there are plenty of free services to choose from.
The system also includes a iPort audio keypad, keep in mind this will only work with Apple devices. The keypad requires no wires, as it runs on a rechargeable battery. It mounts to the wall plate magnetically, or it can attach to any magnetic service. It charges through a USB 2.0 plug and the charge lasts quite a long time. With the iport keypad, you install the iport app and from there you can program the remote to access your favorite playlist with the push of a button. It also has a volume button, a skip button, and a play/pause button. To me I didn't really find the remote nessecarry at all, seeing how you can control the whole system from your phone and get full control over it.
Overall the Sonance 2ch system provides some amazing speakers and a good quality amp with tons of music to choose from. The only problem I found with the system is the lack of a power option, besides that, I think this is a really great system and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for one.

The Oster Heatsoft hand mixer is an average hand mixer at best. While the idea of the Heatsoft technology is nice, it doesn't really make that much of an impact.
The design of the hand mixer is very basic. It's mostly made up of a matte plastic, there is also a detachable plastic plate that attaches with a magnet (this is what's used for the heat soft function). The unit is rather bulky and heavy, which for long uses can be bothersome to your wrist. There are 5 speeds as well as a turbo boost button, although when I was using the max speed the turbo boost didn't do anything.
The biggest feature of this unit is the Heatsoft, which is ideal for mixing together cold stuff like butter and it acts as a heat source to softening it up faster. I decided to take the mixer for a test, so I tried making an apple spice cake. The first thing I wanted to test was the Heatsoft technology, so I needed to mix together butter and cream cheese. As I was mixing the 2 together I noticed the heatsoft wasn't doing me any favors as the ingredients where wrapping around the beaters and climbing there way up to the main unit of the mixer. Needless to say, it did not do a very good job mixing that up. Although, the mixer was able to mix the rest of the ingredients together just fine. I did have to take a few breaks in between to give my wrist a rest, as the mixer is a little bit heavy and unbalanced.
I did find that the turbo boost is a nice feature when you need a short boost of max speed on the fly. The cleaning process is fairly simple, the beaters eject with the push of a button, and the magnetic plate on front comes off very easily for cleaning.

Overall, the mixer did the job as intended with a few drawbacks. I didn't really notice the Heatsoft to be that helpful, and the bulkiness and weight of the mixer made it uncomfortable to use for long periods of time. So, because of the unit's bulkiness I wouldn't necessarily use it as my go to hand mixer, therefor I would be reluctant to recommend this to anyone.

I just had my first baby girl and the Nanit Baby Monitoring System is such a useful device. I am very impressed with how accurate the video stream is, as well as the many other features.
First off, the set up is very simple once you get everything plugged in, you download the Nanit app and set up the camera through the app. The Monitor system comes with 2 different stands, one that mounts to the wall above the baby’s crib, and the other is a tabletop stand that lets you take the camera with you. The system comes with a swaddle and a chest wrap for when your baby outgrows the swaddle. These have a checkered pattern printed on them, this allows for the camera to pick up the baby’s breathing pattern.
The Camera has a built in nightlight, as well as two-way audio so that you can speak to your baby if needed. The camera can also tell you the temperature of the room as well as the humidity, so you know if your baby is comfortable or not. It is also equipped with motion and sound activation, that is very accurate and hasn’t missed one notification for me.
Through the Nanit app is where you will be controlling all the functions. The app is very well designed and works like a charm every time. You can set timers, schedules, customize the notifications, turn on and off the night light, and view live video of your baby. The video is of very good quality too. It comes in at a crisp full 1080 with a birds eye view, so you can see the whole crib.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the Nanit baby monitor system, my only gripe with the system is that it requires a subscription service after the 1 year free trial. I do appreciate that they give you 1 year, but for this kind of equipment, I don’t agree with charging a subscription for something that the product is intended to do on its own. I would be more understanding if they wanted to charge for new features or a software update, but I am not on board with a hefty subscription price. I think if they would go about that differently, then they will have a much more successful outcome with this product, as it really is a great product.

The Ion Sport is a good quality speaker with many benefits to it, plus a bunch of nice features.
First off, the speaker itself is made up of good quality materials while making it light enough to lug around with you. The box is made of a durable waterproof inclosure, with a thick metal grill on the front that covers the subwoofer and tweeter. The built-in handle makes it easy to lift and carry as well. The buttons are are made of rubber and are rather thick, so their easy to press. Pairing is made simple, by pressing the bluetooth button, after devices are pared it will just change the input to bluetooth.
The sound quality is good, as the speaker can be heard for quite a far distance (outside). There is a bass boost mode, which gives the speaker an extra amount of bass. I did notice that when I had my phone turned all the way up to max, and then adjusted the volume on the speaker - that the bass would bottom out and rattle. This was easily fixed by turning down the volume on my phone and then using the speaker volume knob to turn it up a little more. The vocals are nice and clear and base is good and heavy without drowning out the music.
The Speaker has a built-in radio into it, without an antenna. I was impressed with the reception that I was able to get without having any antenna on it. The front of the unit has 2 different ports, both of which are covered with a waterproof rubber protector. The left side has an aux input for audio, as well as the mic input. The right side, has a USB 3.0 port which is used as a charging port. There are 2 volume knobs located on the front of the unit: the master volume, and the mic volume.
The Ion Sport comes with a microphone included in the box, this lets you use the speaker as either a portable PA system, or even a karaoke machine. When I first tried out the mic, I wasn’t getting that good of sound, even with the mic volume knob all the way to max. I quickly figured out that you also need to have the master volume turned up. Once I adjusted that, the volume of the mic was loud and clear.
The speaker also has a few other features that are nice. For instance, there is a link mode, in which you can pair 2 spears together for left and right stereo mode. This unit also feature NFC for easily connecting NFC enabled devices. Lastly the battery life on the Ion Sport is amazing! It has a battery life of 50 hours on a single charge. This is amazing considering the size and power of the speaker.
Overall, the Ion Sport is a very impressive speaker that has a lot of features built into it. With good sound quality and amazing battery life, this speaker makes for the perfect tailgating party. This would also be a great speaker to take with you for those who like to go and float rivers. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The Theragun G3 is an incredible device, that works wonders on your muscles. I’ve been looking for something like this for awhile now, and the G3 doesn’t disappoint.
Everything about the G3 screams high quality. From the parts and craftsmanship, to the heavy duty carrying case that it comes in. This device is sure to last a long time. The G3 comes in a heavy duty carrying case that holds the main unit, the extra attachments, and the charger. This makes for a great way to stow away, or take with you.
The G3 comes with 4 different attachments, each of them have their own use for muscle relaxation. The Dampener is for general use, bony and tender areas. The standard ball is for everyday use, especially for workouts. The thumb which is a smaller and more stiff tip, that acts as a thumb, is made for lower back and trigger points. Lastly is the cone, this is for pinpoint focused muscle treatment, like the wrist and/ feet. I have tried all the attachments, and I can confirm that they all work as intended.
I am no expert at massage therapy, and to be totally honest I had no idea where to, or how to even use the G3. This is where the handy and very well designed app comes in. The Theragun app not only has the full manual built in, but it has detailed instructions on how to use the G3 for every part of your body. This really puts things into perspective, while ensuring you that you’re using it properly.
The G3 was designed with both using it on yourself, as well as using it on others. The G3 was made with a multi-grip angle, this allows you to reach parts of your body that otherwise would be inaccessible. There are 3 different areas to grip and hold the device, and the rubber finish makes it easy to hold so it doesn’t slip out of your hand when using it.
The first time I tried the G3 on myself I was really amazed at how well it works, it really glides right over your skin with little to no effort. I will say that the unit is pretty loud on the highest setting, but that’s easily forgivable after you experience how good it feels.
Lastly, the G3 comes equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery, which is stated to last 60 minutes on a full charge. The uint has a series of 6 lights on the side of it, which lights up indicating how much battery you have left. I think for the amount of power that the G3 offers, the battery life is right on point.
Overall, I am extremely impressed with the Theragun G3. The G3 comes equipped with everything one could ask for in a portable massager, plus some. It did wonders on my sore muscles and helped me to work out many knots that I had built up. The Theragun app, acts as a great interactive instruction manual, that teaches you everything you need to know about the device. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, weather to loosen up for workout, or for simply massaging.

Can this computer be connected to a Macbook Air purchased in 2016? And if so, what adaptor do i need?
If your macbook has usb-c then you would either need a VGA to usb-c adapter, or you could use a HDMI to usb-c adapter.

Can it be used simply for Storage? Will it work w/o Gaming Software? Is it sturdy/Long-lasting? Is it Backward-Compatible w/ 2011 and 2012 MacBook Pros). What is the earliest Mac OS it'll work with? How many USB slots does it need?
Yes it can be used a just regular storage, it is backwards compatible with older USB slots, as long as you have one free usb slot.
