The HP Officejet Pro 9025 has it all, and it’s truly an amazing printer. Setting up the printer was very painless and easy. The large printed instructions made it very simple, you plug in the printer, power it on, then load the ink. From there, you complete the set up with the HP Smart app. The app is designed very well, and has some amazing features that are very useful. Such as; scanning to your phone, scan to email and cloud. It also has a new feature called smart tasks, these are simple one button shortcuts that lets you get tasks done with one push of a button. Aside from all the great features, the app runs flawlessly as well. So far, I haven’t experienced any lag or errors at all.
The Printer can also be operated from the built-in colored touchscreen as well. So, for those that don’t know how or don’t want to set up the app, you can do everything on the device that can be done from the app. The printer has 2 paper trays, one for plain paper, and the second for things such as envelopes and picture paper. I did a test run with an envelope address from Word, I was amazed how the printer automatically picked the correct tray that needed to be used.
A nice new feature that I haven’t seen before, is the way it aligns the printer heads. The printer prints out a graph, then you place it into the scanner, in which the printer scans the reading and aligns it. You can save the paper for future alignments if your prints ever seem to be off. This speeds up the alignment process quite a bit.
Last but certainly not least, is the print quality...The print quality in this printer is amazing! The results are crystal clear, with very bright and vibrant colors. Pictures come out very detailed and clear as well.
Overall, I am very impress with HP for the OfficeJet Pro 9025. They hit a homerun with both the printer and the app with this one. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new printer.

The Lynksys MR8300 Max Stream is a nice router, but lacks in certain areas. This router is a lot smaller than my previous one, which is nice as it doesn't take up much space on my shelve. The router comes equipped with 4 antennas, which is supposed to create a beam forming signal to said devices for better WiFi. Unfortunately, I haven't noticed this feature come in to play.
Set up was fairly simple and straight forward. You will need to download the Linksys app on a smartphone in order to set up the router. The Linksys app is very well designed, and definitely one of the best apps I've seen in this category. You will be guided through every step, including naming your own WiFi band, as well as the password. The app also gives you access to see all the devices that are on the network, and lets you give priority to up to 3 devices of your choice.
Once I got the router set up and working, I decided to give it a speed test. I used 3 different tests: including the one built in to the Linksys app, Speedtest by Ookla, and one provided through my internet provider. I would like to mention that I am currently on a gigabit plan, so ideally my speeds should be anywhere from 700-1000mbps. I am yet to see anyone achieve these advertised download speeds, so realistically I'm shooting for 600-800mbps. After several different tests ran, my average speeds were around 650mbps, which isn't too bad. A really big bonus to this router, is that no matter how many devices I added to the network (currently 10), the speeds stayed relatively the same. So the advertised 15+ devices with no lag, is indeed correct.
Although not everything is great with this router... For instance, the range is not very good at all. Most of my devices are using the 5ghz band, which doesn't spread very far at all. For instance, my Apple TV is on the other side of the wall and the signal is pretty weak. There is a simple fix for this though. Linksys was kind enough to supply me with a node. This is basically a wifi extender that extends the WiFI throughout your whole house. So that does indeed fix the problem.
Overall, the Linksys MR8300 Max Stream is a good router. With an outstanding app that was really well developed, and the ability to keep me at my top speeds while streaming in 4k — this router is a win! I would definitely recommend this to any looking for a new router.

I've been using a Phillips Norelco beard trimmer for years now, not only does it give me a great trim, but it has lasted almost ten years now. That being said, after ten years I figured it was time for an upgrade. So I got the 7000 series beard trimmer.
The trimmer looks really nice out of the box, and has more features than I even expected. The 2 features I really like the best are, when changing the size of how close you want - the number light up so you can actually see what size you're using. The other nice feature, is that it has a built in vacuum that captures all the cut hairs. The vacuum actually works really good too! The Norelco 7000 also comes packed with a nice carrying cloth, as well as some different size attachments. Phillips has included a precision trimmer, which has a much smaller head on it, as well as different sized attachment combs.
I decided to give this trimmer a test run and see how well it performs, needless to say, it did an amazing job. The built in vacuum, collected almost all of my loose hairs, and the sharp blades cut through like butter. There is only one problem that I have with this unit...Even know the attachments are all washable, the main unit is not. The filter where the vacuum collects the hair is one of those parts thats not washable. It becomes pretty tough to clean out all the access hair with a small black piece of foam that's the size of a Q-tip. Not to mention, it gets very messy cleaning the trimmer out (which I have to do at least 2 times every shave). Especially if you're like me and have a lot of thick hair that grows in. To me that was a major design flaw, Phillips should have at least made it to where the filter can be removed and washed out.
Other than the difficulty of cleaning the trimmer, the Norelco 7000 is a great trimmer with a ton of cool and useful features. The built in vacuum, the different sized trimmer heads, the light indicator for how close you want it, etc... I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a new beard trimmer.

The Grab Tab had a good idea, unfortunately due to a poor design and cheap quality - the device isn't practical.
The only thing that seems to be of any use, is when it's used as a finger grip. Even then, its becomes a pain to open the loop. Theoretically, to get the loop to come out, you have to slide the tab upwards. The tab doesn't slide up likes it suppose to. In fact, it took me a couple minutes to figure out that you need to lift the tab outwards with your fingernail, and then attempt to slide it up. After a few times of doing that, there becomes a big gap, so it no longer sits flush when laying flat down.
Then there is another problem when the loop is extended, it sits at the top of the phone. This doesn't work very well as a kickstand when the stand is sitting at the top of the phone, instead of the middle.

Overall, I would stay away from this product as it has no real use to it. The thumb grip would be nice, if it weren't such a pain to get it to open up. The kickstand doesn't work very well at all, seeing how it rest at the top of the phone. And after a few times of opening the kickstand, the device starts to shows major signs of wear, including a big gap. I definitely would not recommend this product to anyone.

The Epson Workforce ES-60W wireless scanner is a surpurb portable scanner. The first thing you’ll notice is how light and slim the device is, which makes it truly portable and easy to carry around. The set up was pretty easy, all you have to do is plug your scanner into your computer with the supplied usb cable and then go to epson.com and download the software. The scanner comes with a built-in rechargeable battery, that’s charged by the included usb cable.
I was using a MacBook Pro with my scanner, so after I installed the software Everything was up and ready to use. I gave it a test run and was amazed at how fast this device scans. It scans documents in around 4 secs and sends it to the computer for a preview. The image came through very crisp and sharp with no issues at all. From the computer’s software, you have the option to save the file locally, or send it through an email, export to word, excel and other programs. Epson really made it very easy and user-friendly to operate.
There is also another way to set up the scanner if you don’t have a computer. If you have a tablet or smart phone you can download the Epson app and use it wirelessly through the app. This, is where things start to go downhill for Epson. I used my new iPad Pro 11” to download the app and set it up through there. First off, like most apps for the new iPad, it doesn’t fit the screen correctly. This isn’t a deal breaker, as it’s just a matter of an update. My biggest disappointment is the lack of features the app has. There is no option to export it to word or excel, in fact the options are very limited. You can save the file to your device in a folder inside the app itself, that’s about it. I would’ve liked to see more export options here, especially seeing how many you get with the computer software.
Overall, the wireless scanner is an impressive device, when using with a laptop or pc. While it still produces the same clear image results on a tablet, the lack of features on the app really wastes the capabilities of what the scanner can do. I would definitely recommend the Epson wireless scanner to anyone though, as it truly is an amazing portable scanner.

My first impressions of the Jaybird Tarah Pro wireless earbuds were great. The product was nicely packaged, the build quality was good, and it even comes packed with different size ear tips as well as a carrying case. The magnetic charger is also a very nice touch, and is very easy to connect.
The earbuds are very easy to connect to your Bluetooth device, it’s just a matter of pairing them with the press of a button. Once connected, I tried to find the right fit for my ears. I have a little larger ear canals, so I tried on the bigger size tips and they fit very comfortably. A nice little feature they added, was the switch fit. This lets you twist the earbud, so you can either wear the cord around the back of your neck, or over the top of your ears around the back of your head. Once you found the desired position, their is a nice little secure clip to tighten the cord for a nice secure fit.
My personal favorite feature of these buds, is the Jaybird app. This app is amazing, it really shows that the developers took a lot of time into making this high quality app. Through this app, you can name your earbuds, watch how-to videos, discover pre made EQ settings, or create your own custom EQ settings, as well as create your own/ use a pre made playlist. They also have a feature to find your earbuds, in case they get miss placed or lost. Needless to say, the app works flawlessly and really compliments the earbuds.
The major drawback to the earbuds, is the sound quality, or lack there of. I spent a while with the app’s EQ setting trying to create the best sound possible, but I just couldn’t. I found the sound to be very muddy or very high pitch, never a happy medium. And when I finally made a desirable one, the quality of the sound just fell flat. I tried many different genres of music, as well as different types of file formats and all gave the same poor results. This was very disappointing, because I really wanted to like these earbuds.
After all is said and done, Jaybird did an amazing job with the design of the earbuds and an even better job with the app and features. Unfortunately when it comes to sound quality, it just wasn’t there for me. Even with numerous combinations of EQ settings, I was never able to find the sound to be that great. That’s not to say that I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone...I would definitely recommend these earbuds to anyone who has never owned a pair of earbuds in the past. On the other hand, someone with a lot of past use with high end earbuds - I would say there are better options out there in terms of sound.

The Shark Ion handvac, is a powerful and versitile little machine. For years I’ve been searching for a handvac to clean the inside of my car, but nothing I found was powerful enough. Then I tried the Shark Ion, and to my surprise it worked really well.
The Shark Ion has a very powerfull suction motor in it. It can pick up anything from small rocks, to pet hair. It includes 2 attachments that have their own usefulness. Once you have everything cleaned, the dust trap flings open with the push of a button. Which makes this very easy to empy and clean.
The Shark Ion has a rechargeable battery built into it, so when not in use, simply place it on the charging cradle. This is nice, as it doesn’t take up much space and looks nice enough to show off. A full charge requires 2.5hrs, which is not bad at all.
I’ve tried using the Shark Ion on multiple different locations, from my sofa, all the way to my car. I can honestly say, I haven’t found a single piece of trash it can’t suck up. This is a very powerful handvac!
Overall, I would say I am very pleased with the Shark Ion Handvac. It’s as durable as it is powerful, which makes it very convenient. It cleans just about any space you can throw at it, and empying the filter is a sinch. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a handheld vacuum.

The Sony MHC-v21 makes for a decent karaoke machine, but that’s pretty much it. Standing at about 2 1/2 feet tall, this unit is a little too big to fit on a bookshelf. It’s also pretty wide too, so I would recommend setting it up on the floor (unless you have the space).
The build quality is kind of lacking, it seems to be very hollow inside with a bunch of unused space. The speaker is made of pretty cheap plastic, with standard buttons, nothing fancy here. The woofer has a projected blue-ish light, which adds for some cool effect. The speaker has only one output (RCA cable) and no input, it does however have an antenna which is included in the box. It also has 2 microphone inputs on the top of the unit.
The Sony speaker has a couple of nice features which include; built in CD player, bluetooth connectivity, and app support for Fiestable and Sony Music Center. Some of the units best features involve, djaying and karaoking. I played with the Fiestable app for a little bit, and for a free app, there are a lot of cool features. For example, slowing and speeding up of the vocals of a track, scratching, and some sound effects. The Sony music app lets you select your library of music to stream to the unit.
The sound of the Sony MHCV21, is actually pretty powerful. It has 2 tweeters on the top of the unit, and a big driver in the center towards the bottom. The sound is pretty clear, and packs some heavy bass.
So overall, if you’re looking for a nice karaoke machine with some added features and good sound, this unit is for you. If you’re looking for a home audio system, there are better options out there, especially considering the amount of space it takes up.

The Bose Home Speaker 500 is an amazing speaker. This speaker is constructed and designed very well. The speaker has 2 custom drivers pointed in the opposite direction. The oval shape was a good choice by Bose, because with the 2 driver speakers it gives it a good presence of 360 degree sound.
The Bose Home 500 gets plenty loud enough, both in volume and base. Bose does a great job balancing the bass, making it heavy and smooth wile not overpowering the rest of the music. The result, a crystal clear sound with just the right amount of bass.
The speaker can connect to your device 3 ways; bluetooth, wifi through the Bose music app, or aux cable. The Bose music app is the primary way to control the setting of the speaker including, bass, treble and wifi set up.
The speaker has a colored LCD display located on the front of the speaker, that when playing music through the Bose music app - will display the album artwork. Although, when streaming with bluetooth, it just displays the bluetooth symbol with the title of the track on the bottom. The resolution and color are lacking pretty bad, but this is hardly a deal breaker, as this is more of a bonus feature than anything else.
This speaker also comes equipped with Amazon Elexa built in. The microphone picks up voices very efficiently, with it's 8 microphone array. Elexa is very responsive when it comes to using voice controls. I like how this speaker doesn't force you to use Elexa, if you don't want to. You have the option to use your mobile device, or you can use the custom buttons built-in on top of the speaker.
Overall, the Bose Home Speaker 500 is a solid speaker, with premium sound. This speaker will easily fill up an entire house with sound, and has plenty of control options to use it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a premium streaming speaker.

The Bose subwoofer is a great companion to the Bose soundbar 500. This adds the extra lows that completes the soundbar, to give you a great home theater experience.
The subwoofer has a premium look and feel to it, all while making it small enough as to not take up much space. It also matches the soundbar really well, in terms of design.
The set up is very simple and straight forward. Once you get your soundbar set up through the Bose music app, it prompts you to add more devices. Simple push the button on the bottom of the subwoofer, and voila, connected.
The bass is very clean. It maintains good lows, without distorting or bottoming out. Weather you're listening to music, or watching a movie, the subwoofer provides that extra level of bass that completes the experience.
The subwoofer makes for the perfect companion to the Bose soundbar 500, which I highly recommend getting the two together. This really adds the complete package to a home theater.

The battery life says 10 hrs, but that also depends on what you're using it for. Games, may reduce the battery faster, as well as the brightness you have it set as. There is a micro SD slot only.

Is it possible to link multiple speakers wirelessly to a single device? For example: could i have a speaker in one room and then a speaker in the next playing off the same playlist/Ipod?
Yes you can link up to 2 speakers together, I believe. But unless you use an aux cable, the only way to connect anything to this is through airplay. And seeing how airplay only lets you select one speaker its going to be tricky to set up. Although I do remeber reading in the instructions that you can set up 2 speakers for that purpose, I wouldnt have a clue how you would get them to connect at the same time.

do any laptops come with WiFi Hot Spot capability?
Yes they do. I know for a fact my samsung series 5 i7 lets you use that option if you'd like.

Can you run 2 monitors off this unit?

I wanted to see if it was possible to run a HDMI cable from the laptop to a 19'' screen and also a VGA to 19'' screen? In other words, I want the laptop screen and two 19'' screens all as extended desktops with inividual screens.
Is this possible with this laptop without having to buy any adapters?

While there are inputs for both hdmi and VGA built into the laptop, I'm just not sure if the intel mobile graphics card supports two external displays, making it a total of 3 displays simultaneously.
