What's great about it: Very easy to set up...including the optic cord which I didn't even know my 43" Samsung had
What's not so great: Can't think of anything negative.
Was looking for something to replace the bad sound on my flat screen and to take out the old late 90's JBL speakers and Kenwood reciever in my already small living room that I used to watch music shows like Idol and NFL games. Not intended for huge spaces but perfect for smaller rooms...crisp sound and bass. The wide stereo sound is gone from the old Kenwood/JBL but the sound that remains is centered, clear and full....and the bulky speakers that I had are gone and make the room look bigger....love it!
This product has... Right size for my space, Easy to set up, Good build quality
About me... Technically challenged
I would recommend this to a friend!

D0 you have to sit the tv on top of the bose device or can it be placed on the tv stand shelf below the tv?

Heck no....the sound is so good that you can place the Bose on a shelf below
