What's great about it: Dual Band wireless access point
What's not so great: Had to download an app on an apple device to program it
Works as a DHCP range extender in a house full of wireless devices that control the home theater system with android devices.

Will this work with my device?

I have a device without a built in wifi but it has a LAN connector. Can I use Belkin range extender to connect the device to work wirelessly?
Yes but you will need a laptop or computer to set it up the first time to connect to your existing wireless network then you can connect any devices and as many as you want.

is the power supply only 110 volts or will it toggle between 240 volts

Am looking at buying one whilst in the USA but i come from a 240 volt country. If i have to buy another power supply won't be worth it.
Most power supplies today handle the 110 to 240 range and it's only the plug that is the issue.
You answered your own question. Most everything now does both 110 and 240 volts automatically. You just need to read the power supply itself and look for the 110 - 240 volts ac input listed. Then you will only need the adapter for your country.

how do i restart my belkin range connecter model #:F9K1106v1

Simple answer just power down for more than 6 seconds and power it back on and wait a minute or so for reset.
Tech way is to log into web interface and do a software reboot. Connect laptop with a cable and wireless turned off the open internet explorer and type in 192.168 2.1 and input user and password if you changed them or use defaults listed on the Belkin itself.

Belkin - Dual-Band Wireless Range Extender

I have AT&T high speed internet connected to my home computer. I am trying to set up a connection to a desk top that is located approximately 300 feet away but I cannot establish an internet connection. I have installed a WiFi USB adapter but still cannot connect. My question is ....will this range extender work with trying to set up a connection to the desk top?
Range extenders need to be able to connect to the main router just like any other wireless device. They do not have super receiver power. Just an educated guess but I doubt any other device can connect to your AT&T router from that far. So my suggestion is to split the distance by having the range extender closer to the router like half way or so. Then using the USB adapter to connect to the extender.

Setup

Will I be able to set this device up without physical access to the router. I share the internet as part of the condo complex and do not have access to restart the router.
Yes. I set these up by connecting a laptop with a cable and my wireless off. That way my laptop logs onto the extender only and in just a few steps using the wizard, you hunt for signals using a web page just like you log any other device onto your existing router or any WiFi connection available you have access to and the password. The device finishes it setup and basically labels your existing WiFi name with (Your WiFi)+_EXT so you now can find it and use the exact same password. It evens uses the same network gateway so you can find the other devices on your network like you did on the router directly.

Will this work with my iPhone 5 acting as a hotspot/router?

We use an iPhone 5 (Verizon) as a hotspot for our wireless internet access since we live in a rural area. We get 3 bars of LTE with the phone sitting in our dining room (drops to 3G in other parts of the house) and our MacBooks find it if we are close but if we go to the back of the house they usually don't connect. We live in a small 1200 sq. ft. home but it is brick, has a tin roof and plaster walls. We just want to be able to connect to the iPhone with the Mac's and tablet anywhere in the house.
Yes it will work if you set it up in repeater mode (picks up WiFi and uses it like an incoming wired internet connection). So basically you can move it half way across your house (or only as far as your phone works) and double the distance from you hot spot phone and have a new stronger signal across the house. This is the best way to connect as many devices you want to a single cell phone or MiFi which is limited to 5 or 8 devices and only over WiFi. You gain the bonus of connecting wired internet devices at the same time and up to 30 wireless devices. Even works mobile so you can create the ultimate mobile hot spot like we do in our motor home on the road.
