What's great about it: Simple and clean look
What's not so great: Nothing like the movie theater sound
Simple clean minimal wires and sounds great. Subwoofer is via Bluetooth so it can be place anywhere near a power source.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: You don't have to use the onscreen keyboard and remote
What's not so great: Sometime a delay. Not instant when keys are punched.
Very convenient over using the remote to select what you want on the keyboard onscreen. Even though the key punches are delayed it works well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Can stream Netflix or surf internet
What's not so great: Nothing yet
Can reduce cable bill or eliminate and stream through a good internet connection. Very easy to hook up and easy to use.

Do I need to run any cables from my DVD player to the Soundbar?

In addition to the above ? Do I need one or the other but not both HDMI OR Digital Optical Cable connect the soundbbar to the TV?
The DVD player needs to connect to the sound bar using either the HDMI output or the optical output. Not both.
