The setup of this hub for Mac is quick. Out of the box, it is plug and play. I was able to plug it in without removing my protective case from my 2019 MacBook Pro.

The key feature of this hub is that you can turn your two USB-C ports from the MacBook Pro into 8 ports: 2 USB-Cs, 2 USB 3.0s, SD, Mirco SD, Ethernet port, and a 4K HDMI port. Additionally, it is self powered and doesn’t require to be plugged in anywhere other than your MacBook.

---PERFORMANCE---
The performance was phenomenal. I had purchased a cheaper, similar device online but when I plugged in my external USB Apple disc drive, it wouldn’t power up. With this Platinum hub, I was able to plug in the USB Apple disc drive and it worked flawlessly. I was also able to connect a tablet and my own Mac charging cable so that both devices were charging at the same time. It had no issues reading my 3.0 USBs nor my Mirco SD cards with and without the SD adapter. It is able to read up to 2 TB SD cards.

The performance of this battery back-up system is good. This is meant to be used as a means to safely turn off equipment that is meant to be turned off properly or give you time to save data. I tested this with my WiFi Modem/Router combo and it lasted me about 1 hour and 20 minutes. A clear audible alarm begins to beep when the back-up is close to running out of power giving you time to act. I simulated a power outage by unplugging the battery from the outlet and the transition from connected to back-up was seamless. I didn’t lose internet connection and all was good for the next hour and 45 minutes.

The setup of the Shark IQ Robot vacuum was simple. You just plug the base making sure that it is against a wall and that on the left and right it has 3 feet of clearance and 5 feet in front of it. If you are installing it on a carpet, it comes with a plastic base extension. I installed it on hardwood floor, so I didn’t use the extension. The robot itself is ready to go except for installing 2 bristles by snapping them.

If you watch it for the duration of the time, which you probably will because it’s entertaining, you will be amazed at how carefully it rounds corners to make sure it gets everything. Two bristles will circle debri towards the center so that it can really get things in corners. The one thing I wasn’t able to do was to connect it to Alexa. I used the Alexa app and added the Shark Skill as explained in the Shark IQ app, but it would refuse to recognize the vacuum. Regardless, the Shark IQ app itself is easy to understand and use, so I don’t mind using the app to start and stop it if necessary. That being said, it is a touted feature and it a bit unfortunate that it didn’t work. It is supposed to work with Google Home as well, but I didn’t try it with that device.

I’ll admit that at a glance, I thought slimmer meant I would struggle with typing and gaming. I’m glad I was proven wrong, as both felt like second nature quickly. Games like Overwatch, Call of Duty 4, and Hunt: Showdown felt extremely responsive and the lower profile of the keys made me feel like I responded quickly to unexpected situations. For games like Surviving Mars or RPGs like Skyrim, I enjoyed customizing the G-keys for often used shortcuts. Also, as a YouTuber, I appreciate being able to customize those keys for quick cut and paste shortcuts when video editing.

---THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT---
Ever since I bought my first air fryer, I fell in love with them. This one is my third air fryer simply because they are easy to use and faster to cook in. To start with, this air fryer’s aesthetics compliment my kitchen’s other black appliances. It is shiny but with a matte look that doesn’t reflect you or your kitchen. It will be pleasant to look at if you decide to leave this on the counter top.
Ever since I bought my first air fryer, I fell in love with them. This one is my third air fryer simply because they are easy to use and faster to cook in. To start with, this air fryer’s aesthetics compliment my kitchen’s other black appliances. It is shiny but with a matte look that doesn’t reflect you or your kitchen. It will be pleasant to look at if you decide to leave this on the counter top.
This is the first analog dial timer air fryer that I own. This can be a pro for people who aren’t used to digital timers or pushing buttons. My wife, for example, prefers using this air fryer now because you only have two things to turn for it to start cooking, the temperature and the timer dial. The dial timer is also a con because you can’t reduce the time to cook once you have set the timer where a digital timer would let you do that.
Cooking frozen, raw chicken wings was a breeze. The package stated that in a conventional oven, it would take 60 minutes. In the air fryer, it took 20 minutes. I marinated them with some lemon-pepper seasoning while frozen and they came out delicious.
I did have an issue closing the pan tank. It closed and cooked, but I noticed that it had to give it an extra small nudge for it to look closed, where as my other air fryers glide in and out with ease. Not something concerning, though, as the fryer works as intended.
The removable flat basket was a challenge to clean because food debris sticks to it. I sprayed it with PAM oil but it still didn’t clean as easy as I’d like. It is dishwasher safe, though, and I cleaned it by hand. It’s size makes it easier to store, but it is still a bulky item, like all air fryers. The performance is great. You can use these headphones on anything that has an auxiliary output. However, if you connect the DAC, or digital audio converter, included in the box, you can modify the sound from 5 pre-installed choices by pro-gamers, 2 pre-installed genre defaults (FPS or Moba), or custom by user. I tried this headset with FPS games like Hunt:Showdown and APEX Legends. The sound is really crisp and clear when playing these games. You can raise the volume from the included cable, plus your own desktop sound. Once you open the Logitech Hub, you can raise the volume even more and that can get pretty loud without losing clarity. I tried them with a story based game, A Plague Tale: Innocence. The immersion level was increased for me with a customized sound, focusing on lower base levels to feel the music of the game with more intensity.

However, doing that once will make you confident to repeat the process without having to read the manual again. After you fill the ink tanks with the ink bottles, plug on the printer, turn it on, and choose the option to begin charging the ink, as per the manual. There is no fear of mess or ink spillage due to the design in the ink bottles.

This printer performs great when dealing with documents. I personally didn’t like the way it printed pictures as they seemed darker compared to other printers that I own. However, the many features that this printer offers makes it more adequate as an office printer where documents will be printed more often than pictures. Though there is no option for cardstock in paper type menu, I still tried printing with cardstock. I chose premium matte but the printer said there was a paper mismatch in the settings. For movies, activate the included Dolby Atmos Code and look for a movie on Netflix that uses Dolby Atmos. You will be amazed at what you’ve been missing out on in terms of sound. However, even shows that don’t have Dolby Atmos, the sound on the headset is amazing.

My teammates hear me clearly and the range is impressive, which is good to keep on communicating during snack refill breaks. An underrated feature is that the base has an input and output for optical cables. What this allows you to do is to connect the base to the Xbox but still connect a separate device that uses optical cables. What I was able to do was to connect the optical out with my own optical cable and plug that in to the TV. This allows me to listen to anything else that I have connected to the TV, including my PS4, my Nintendo Switch (when docked), and my PC without having to switch any cables. Of course, you can’t use the microphone with that hook-up, but my other consoles are used mainly for story-driven, single-player campaigns, so I don’t need the mic in those instances.

Would this system work with online platforms? For example, I am a teacher and have to teach students in person while having students online on Google meet. If I bought this, would my online students be able to hear me and would I be able to hear them?
Hi there. I am a teacher as well. This would allow your students to hear you but you wouldn't be able to hear them. For that scenario, I used the Anker Power conference instead. I had to teach in-person students and virtual students at the same time. The Anker allowed me to speak freely into it's embedded mic and I could hear students from the speaker as well.

I understand that this wouldn’t automatically amplify someone’s voice, but if it is connected to a computer, can the audio be heard through speakers when connected through audio software?
Yes. Using the USB 3.0 receiver and the included extension cable, I was able to use it with Streamlabs OBS and add filters. This allows me to use the mic when streaming content, in Zoom, or even project the voice through speakers that the computer might be paired with.

Yes, it does. I use it to extent the display, but you can easily mirror this in the display options of a windows 10 or a Mac.

Do these headphones have a mute button and how long is the battery life if using for office calls?
No mute button, but 22 hour battery life. Great for listening to calls without hearing surrounding noise.

Does this come with the spinning sweeper for mopping the floor? On the samsung website it states the sweeper only comes with VS90, but I don't see that as one of the listed items included. If it doesn't come with it, what is the use of "wet" function?
It doesn't come with the sweeper for floors. I was disappointed when I didn't find one. You have to purchase that separately.
