I gave it 2 stars for the keyboard alone. It's a really nice sturdy keyboard. However, I should have read reviews and spoken with a couple or relatives before buying it. The case that wraps around the iPad is made of really thin rigid plastic that provides little shock resistance for the pad. Also, every single person I have spoken to has had problems with the wrap around case cracking and splitting within a really short period of time and sometimes for no apparent reason. I was no exception. I had it for a week and began to experience this problem. Again, the keyboard is sturdy and really good, but the case that wraps around the iPad is flimsy, cracks easily and frequently and provides almost no protection for the pad at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for Christmas to replace a 2012 Macbook Pro. The old machine was working great but I travel a lot and it is significantly heavier. This new Macbook Air with 8 gb of RAM and 512 gb SSD HD rocks!!! It's fast as lightning. Boots up from start to finish in about 20 seconds and it is way lighter to carry in a backpack in airports. The WiFi speed is really fast too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like these earphones. The charge on the LIon battery lasts for a very long time and the carrying pouch has a built in battery that will recharge the headset on the go - doubling your battery life. The range of sound for a bluetooth device is great. However, even though it comes with two extra sets of rubber ear cushions of differing sizes - if you have a small to medium ear canal these do not fit so well and could even be a bit uncomfortable. Also, the volume will not go up high enough for some tunes that are better played at higher volumes. On the plus side - the earphones are almost completely contained within the earbuds themselves. There is only a flat cable connecting the buds that runs around behind your nick rather than a large rechargable battery in a heavy plastic case like many bluetooth earphone devices. These can be very descretely carried around your neck without being conspicuous or uncomfortable.

What's great about it: Compact as Heck!
What's not so great: The Battery
First, great camera. Remarkable pics and the presets are awesome and easy to master. Now let me talk about the single negative feature of this camera - the battery. It uses an LP-E12 battery which is not available through BestBuy - at all. It's not just out of stock. It isn't even carried by BestBuy. So if you want to pickup a spare (as would anyone) you are out of luck. You will need to find a 3rd party online battery seller and order it.

Flash mode does not appear to include a fill-in flash. Am I correct? I like the fill-in flash (forced flash) to reduce shadows on people's faces.
No, this is not true. Fill flash is a function of this camera.

what do computer connectivity mean? Also if it does not come with a memory card do I have to buy one to take pictures?
Connectivity simply means that you can connect it to a computer via a cable. Yes, you will need to purchase an SD card to store pics on. It has no on-board memory of it's own but this is typical of most all digital cameras.

Can i purchase the camera body only ? I have 2 lenses from an old Nikon D40 and want a camera upgrade. which ones are compatible with those lenses?
Easy answer - "yes". You may need to order it at your local store depending upon their current stock but all of these cameras can be pruchased as a complete kit or a standalone body with no lenses.

Need Help- Nikon D5100, Nikon D3200, or Canon EOS Rebel SL1
I am trying to decide between the Nikon D5100, Nikon D3200, or Canon EOS Rebel SL1. I want to take pictures while traveling and have some of them blown up. I am just starting out and do not know too much about cameras so please give me your thoughts.
I don't know about the Nikons. I only use Canons and I own the SL1. It is a REMARKABLE camera. You cannot go wrong with it.

CANNON!!! Please do not buy that cheap little Pentax. You will hate yourself. Cannon optics and internal software produce far superior photo quality even in their low end inexpensive point and shoots than Pentax.

Which is better for 17 year old daughter?
Which is better for my 17 year old daughter, who has only had a regular digital in past. The Nikon 3000 bundle (sku 9999120500050039) or the Canon Rebel XS (sku 9999119000050020)? Both come with extra lens and bag. Not sure which is the best came for her and which is best deal? She loves photography.
I own the rebel XS. BUY IT!!! You will begin borrowing it from your daughter. Canno also makes a HUGE range of EF/S lenses that you can pick up later if you want.

which camera has "presets"
I heard about a DSLR that you could save multiple settings (shutter, pic size, flash, etc.) and then pull them back up the next time you are taking pics in the same setting. Does anyone know what camera or cameras do this? Trying not to go over $1000
I'm happy to tell you that you have a lot of choices. Almost none of the small point and shoot cameras do that. However, almost all of the DSLR cameras will. I know that all the Cannon models do and have for several years. The Rebels all do that and you have 3 really good choices Rebel XS, XSi and XTi.

Canon makes a handful of nicely priced and sturdy digital cameras in the 6 t0 10 megapixel range. They are also very sturdy and can withstand the torture of an 8 year old.

I am looking at buying either the Cannon Powershot SD1200 or the Sony Cybershot W230 12.1 megapixel...Which is the better camera for everyday pictures indoor and out?
In every given situation - go for the Cannon name. The sensors and software driving their cameras produce far superior photos than Sony.
