This is the second Samsung dishwasher we have owned in the past five years and both have turned out to be lemons. The first one lasted five years and then shut down. FIVE service calls later and every imaginable part replaced, the unit still shut down and showed a drain error every time. Repair company declared it dead and refunded our warranty cost. Went to BB and bought another one. Took it home, had a plumber install it -- guess what? Drain error codes and cycle aborts every time. Called Samsung and they sent out Appliance Rescue. Appliance Rescue has been to our house twice so far and replaced the pump/motor/drain assembly, and is now waiting for a new mother board and drain sensor. This on a brand new unit? Maybe it is just our bad luck, but Samsung appears to have reliability issues big time. I just placed an order for a Whirlpool and Best Buy has agreed to refund the price of the Samsung and to come pick it up from our house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Installation with low counter height

The kitchen has tile floor. But below the counter where the washer is inserted has bare subfloor. The counter-subfloor height is more than 34" and is enough for the washer's 33.88" height. But the counter-tile height is 33.70". Does the washer have adjustable legs so that it can be inserted under the counter to stand on the bare subfloor?
Yes, it is adjustable front and rear. On a bare floor installation, the legs will probably need to be fully extended. The rear legs are extended via an allen wrench adjustment in the FRONT. The front legs are individually adjustable by hand or using a wrench directly.
