Snark aside (it's not completely wireless if you have to plug something in.....) this thing works great. SOOOO much easier to charge, as a solid USB connect is sometimes a little tough in the dark etc. Do I wish it were a little less expensive, sure. But I'm happy with it. I hate worrying about off brand stuff.

Without qualifiers, this case is as good as advertised in regards to turning your iPad into a mini Macbook. Keyboard is solid, BT connect is seamless. It's obviously bulky in tablet mode, but still usable. A lot more solid than the Zagg Slim Book.
Big caveat****Got this on a super sale price. Review drops down big if you had to pay full price. At that full price, you should get backlit keys. At a sale price, it's ok.

If you need to do near laptop level work with your iPad Air 2, this is the best case for it. Great keyboard, it's a 90% size MBA keyboard essentially. Great protection and no Bluetooth issues like double taps. Even though it is a little heavy, it is still very portable. The weight makes it more stable in laptop form than a lot of those Windows convertible tablets. Now, at full price would I buy it? Probably not. But if you find one on a mega clearance like I did, pounce on it.

What's great about it: Updates, screen size, quick mount
What's not so great: Resistive touch screen
I like this unit a lot. 5" is probably the perfect size for a standalone unit, any larger and it just becomes too difficult to stow anywhere. Voice directions are clear and the lane guidance is nice. Free updates for the maps are nice. Traffic data is a great feature.
Only downside is the resistive touch screen instead of a capacitive touch screen. You have to really press on the screen to register; come on guys, it's 2014, I didn't even know they still manufactured resistive screens. It's the only downside of this unit.

What's great about it: Portable, lightweight, great battery life, matte screen
What's not so great: matte screen dulls colors a little, plasticky
The #1 dig that tech writers have thrown at the Chromebooks is that you need to be connected to the internet to use most of the features. To that I ask, when are you NOT on the internet? You had to be connected to the net to read their negative review. They had to be connected to post their review. It's baffling; almost as if they are in business with Microsoft in the battle against innovation.
If you utilize Google apps already, this is a no brainer. Sure, Mac Books are prettier, but you can buy 6 chromebooks for every one MBP. "The screen isn't 1080 HD!" It's also 11 inches so I don't think I'll suffer much. And that resolution lets me have a battery life of 8 hours. Good trade off.
Does it run full MS Office, no. Are there some formatting issues with .docx files and Google Docs? Yes, but rarely.
It is not perfect as your only machine; but nothing is really. My situation, I have a monster at my desk at work, Core i7, 16GB RAM, 4 monitors. This is my 2nd machine. iPad for media and reading. That's really the perfect setup I think. But if it is your only machine, it CAN work. I'd give it a B rating if it's your primary machine. As a secondary computer, it's an A+.

Got it on sale for $29.99. Not as sexy as the Apple keyboard, but at less than half the price, I can adjust. I use this with my iPad; a much more svelte option to laptop replacement than a keyboard case combo. Good size, good key travel for a portable keyboard.
Perhaps an internal recharge would be nice, but 2 AA batteries have lasted a long time thus far. And I would drop another $20 if it had backlit keys. But overall, a steal at $30

What's great about it: On/Off magnet. Slim. Versatile
What's not so great: $40. Leaves tracks/smudge on screen where the folds are. It's $40
It's really a perfect "home" cover in that it does the on/off flawlessly and it can stand and cover. I just don't like the lines it leaves on the screen where it folds. I can live with it leaving the back bare; I'm not traversing the Rockies with my iPad. I do wonder how long it will hold up being folded back and forth and $40 is just ridiculous. I don't mind paying $100 more for an iPad over another tablet; the build quality is no joke. But for the covers? If Belkin made this it would be $14.99.

If the phone is Qi enabled it will slow/normal charge with this. But the fast charging only works on the S6+, S7, S7 Edge and newer.

It will slow charge an S6 but will not fast charge it.

You can use a USB keyboard but it only has the one USB slot so.....

It comes and will run most Office products, but what about Publisher? I do fairly heavy duty desktop publishing.
I know I would have upgrade the Office version that comes on it, but that's no problem. I use my present old-style Tablet PC (swivel type keyboard) in my classroom, hooked to a projector, to write notes, show PowerPoints and annotate slides with the stylus, as well as web stuff. But it also is my work laptop for producing documents, including the school newspaper. So can this machine do some fairly strong desktop publishing with MS-Publisher?
Not sure, but from what I've heard, it would be a little dicey to run something that needs that much RAM

which Mircro surface will run all microsoft programs including access?
The Surface PRO is a full fledged Win 8 computer. The Surface RT is a tablet and will NOT run x86 programs.

Why can't I run foreign downloads?
Earlier I downloaded a program that was not included in the store. It downloaded fine, but when I tried to run the program, it said I wasn't capable of running it. How can I get around this? Do I just need to buy a new computer?
You have the Surface Prop or the RT? WIndows programs will not run on the RT.

Slightly smaller than standard, MUCH larger where it matters than a tablet keyboard. Placed on top of my iPad, it is about half the size of the iPad. It's pretty thin too/.

can you install a data plan to microsoft surface?
can data plans from att and Verizon be added to the tablet or is just wifi connections.
Just wi-fi. But you can just use your phone as a hotspot
