This HD is great if you're looking to upgrade your HDD. I installed it on my 2009 model Dell desktop. Even though my Dell is SATA II, it still gave me a great improvement everywhere (boot time, program access, etc.) Highly recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will the work in my dell laptop?

I have a dell Studio XPS I bought in 2010. Hard drive crashed over the weekend.
