I do not understand why Seagate stopped making the previous model the 7200 RPM version of this drive. but still its a great drive regardless...

What's great about it: The free extras
What's not so great: The low end Intel Core I5
This computer produces amazing sound quality and the ability of the display at its size actually is more visually appealing to work with than my 17 inch HP. This Toshiba has everything you could want. Blue tooth, high def screen, high def sound.. I will tell all of you my experience with this computer. I upgraded the memory as 6gb is not enough. This computer uses either standard DDR3 pc3 12800 or it uses the Low Voltage DDR3L
I will advise you that you can not mix the two types of memory as the computer will not boot or even power on until "matching" pairs of memory are installed, what I mean by matching is they need to be the same technology and the same speed. So either switch to regular DDR3 or stick with the DDR3L. but needs to be one or the other.

Can u download and listen music onto this tablet
absolutely. Just highly suggest storage of music on micro SD card instead of phones internal memory

Which laptop?
I am looking at this laptop along with the Acer Aspire 15.6", the Sony VAIO 14" touch screen, and the Lenovo IdeaPad 14". Each laptop meets the minimum requirements on order to play occasional games such as Call Of Duty or Skyrim. They also have back lit keyboards and optical drives which is a must for me. I'm also looking to edit videos. Which laptop would you recommend and for what reasons?
The Sony Viao would be a work horse, but its limitation is it has a low end Intel Core I3 which is a dual core processor.
The Lenovo for its price is a good deal, but Dont let the processor fool you. Yes it is an I7, but its the dual core I7 not the actual quad core I7 which for its price it should be the quad core version.
The Acer and I know the Acer brand is frowned upon as its not main stream, but Acer makes some amazing products. They are the parent company for emachines, gateway, and in europe packard bell. Acer makes real tough take a beating and keep on going products. Myself I would Get the toshiba as I have the toshiba and I love it,. but to narrow it down between the acer and toshiba is a hard choice.

If I don't want Windows 8, can I buy window 7, format the HDD, and load windows 7 into this computer? I read somewhere that this was not possible, which sounds strange?
Removing Windows 8 is a bad move. As the windows 8 uses the UEFI frimware and boot enviornment. If you want the windows 7 experience you could install windows 7 through VMware workstation or you could use Microsoft Virtual PC. But formatting the hard drive and using Win7 not possible. As it would cripple the computer with all the hardware thats designed for Windows 8 and above.

What is the difference between "Mobile Intel HD Graphics" and "Intel HD Graphics 4400"

Intel Software Starter Pack - Windows [Digital Download]
I was told I would get an email concerning this starter pack and have not received it yet. I got one for the virus software that was also included but nothing else.
This laptop comes with 366 days of Symantec's Norton Anti Virus. Also Bestbuy provides 1 full year of their webroot anti virus. At the time of purchase they should have asked you to give them your email for the software download. I actually seen the email pop up on my iPhone before I left the store. They are good about getting that sent out asap..
