Can you buy auto focus lenses

I am thinking about buying the D3100 but does it have an auto focus option on the camera itself or is there a lense you can buy seprately or is the only way to focus these cameras by hand?
No auto focus on the camera. You have to buy new or AF-S lenses for it. In other words, lenses that have auto focus in them instead of the camera. You can use the other lenses, but they will only work manually, which sucks for people with poor vision.
