I was sent this router for free in exchange for my unbiased review. Let me just start off by saying that this router is quite large, larger than any other router I've ever seen. I was surprised by just how large the router is, about the size of the full-size iPad. It's quite hefty as well which I think is good for durability sake. The user interface was quite responsive just like all the other Smart Wi-Fi routers in the Linksys line. I got exceptional range and throughput on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band, as expected. What really surprised me was on the back of the router is 8 LAN ports, which I think is more than I've ever seen on a consumer router. Very innovative for Linksys to do that since this router I believe is meant for the prosumer and ultra heavy use networks. My devices connected up seamlessly, I never had a problem, it was a breeze to use, extremely easy to set up. As powerful as this router is, I was very impressed by how well it stayed cool, which I think is helped by its large size for more airflow. I personally think that the front panel LED lights is one of the coolest features of this router, in implementation and design.

Disclosure: I received this product for free from Linksys in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
About me: I've been in the networking industry for over ten years now, and I've used a lot of routers over those years, and I've always come back to the Linksys brand because it works well, looks good, and is easy to setup and use. Take the Linksys EA7500 Max-Stream™ AC1900 MU-MIMO Gigabit Router for example.
First impression: The box was easy to open, everything was nicely laid out, and simple to put together. The router is just so well designed that it's actually nice to look at. I've had it running for hours during gaming sessions and it's as cool to the touch as it was when I first unpacked it, which is a welcome change from what I noticed with the EA4500 and WRT1900AC which both become quite warm in use.
Diving into the web interface was just as familiar as any other Smart Wi-Fi router from Linksys. An interesting difference I noticed was a dedicated 80MHz channel width option, a dedicated 802.11ac only mode, a 165- 5.825GHz channel option limited to 20MHz, and a configuration mechanism. What I mean by this is that if certain wireless configuration settings aren't compatible with each other, they're grayed out with a notice pop up explaining why it's not selectable. For example if I choose the 80MHz setting while in Mixed mode, a notice pops up telling me that it cannot be chosen when the network mode is set to Mixed, puts the setting that needs to be changed in square brackets, and the drop down for network mode grays out all the other options except for 802.11ac. The same is seen when selecting the 165- 5.825GHz channel option which pops up with a notice that says it cannot be chosen if channel width is set to anything but 20MHz, putting both the 165- 5.825GHz and alternative channel width options in brackets. I like this approach because for less knowledgeable users it informs them of the why and what to change. It's clear and concise. Moving down to the internet options, I discovered a "pass thru" option for the IPv6 setting. I hope Linksys will implement these UI setting changes to their older Smart Wi-Fi models.
Performance: My wireless devices were correctly identified, connected quickly, and maintained a strong connection throughout my one story home. Same can be said for my wired devices. Throughout testing, I consistently saw my full 180Mbps internet connection on both wired and wireless devices. I experienced no problems while putting the router under an exceptionally heavy load. PC and console gaming, Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Chromecast, and TiVo Stream streaming, and performing a multi video Skype conference call all at the same time caused no hiccups, stutter, rebooting, or hanging all while poking around in the web UI.
Pros: A very robust router that can stand up to a wide variety of stressful situations that day-to-day use may put it through.
Cons: I spent over an hour thinking of a con to put here, and I literally couldn't come up with anything, it's that good a router.
Final thoughts: This router is a worthy centerpiece for any personal network, and should readily be considered the standard to which all others need be held to.

I picked up this device last July before I went on vacation. I tend tor record a lot of television shows but I'm almost never home. This device has been a godsend since I got it. I'm able to watch whatever I want, whenever I want, at any time of day or night wherever I am in the country. On the days that I do get to be home, I'm able to watch my recordings outside by the pool or even in the bathroom. The iOS and Android app works great, it's well designed, and has spectacular picture and sound quality.

What's great about it: Great audio quality and ease of use
What's not so great: microphone on the right side instead of left
I bought this headset for my mom so she can talk to her friends on Skype and listen to music and YouTube without having to wake everyone up. I've tested this headset out and the audio is great and it's so simple to setup even a five year old can do it. The only thing I wasn't so sure about was that the mic boom is on the right side instead of the left which she is used to, but she's adjusted to that quickly. I definitely recommend this headset to anyone looking for a good headset with great sound.

Good question. I don't know 100%, but I noticed a pop up on one of the retail websites a ship date of November 10th. This pop up has since disappeared. You can sign up for email notifications when it becomes available.

Will this Chromecast work with my Samsung Galaxy View 18.4" tablet? I need to mirror an app from my tablet to my TV

From Google's support page: All devices running Android 4.4.2 or higher support the Cast Screen feature.
However, the following devices have been tested to work best for Android Screen casting. Other Android devices may not have the necessary power to provide an optimized Screen casting experience.. Here is a list of these devices. https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/6293757

Can you receive live tv on your iPad with TiVo - Stream?

Yes, I've been able to watch live television both in home and out of home on the iPad through the TiVo app when connected to the TiVo Stream. When you select a program in the TiVo app guide, the associated TiVo selected in the app records the show, and then the TiVo Stream streams the recording to the device utilizing the app. If you want to watch something else, you will receive a prompt to either save the recording that was created, or delete it to save space.

*The channel must not use copy protection in order to stream out of home.

Is there an adaptor so I can plug it into my cell phone?

The jack on the headset is too big to fit into the headset connection on my LG flip phone. Is there a plug in adaptor that can be used to make it work?
You may need to find a 2.5mm headphone adapter that connects into the cellphone to make the 3.5mm headphone jack on the headset.
