This would be replacing a 5 year old pioneer single din stereo on my 2001 Corolla. Will I have to buy or retrofit another harness or does the harness connector I made for the pioneer work with this?
Since you already have an aftermarket radio installed you can still use the harness kit that is already there.

How is this different from the HAA7T model?
The HA-A7T provides 6 hours of battery life vs the HA-A10T only offers 4hrs. The charging time is the same. The design of the HA-A7T is different in size and is slightly smaller. Overall frequency range is the same.

I am confused as to how to use the earphones. Can someone explain for volume control, calls, and changing music?
When using the HA-A7T, tap either right or left once to get your song to play, tap either side quickly twice to adjust the volume. Left ear bud if press and held for 1 second will back track a song and right side if pressed and held for 1 second will forward track.
Answering the call
Press the button once quickly when receiving a call.
Ending the call
Press the button once quickly during the call.
Rejecting a call
When there is an incoming call, press continuously for about 1 second until a beep is heard. Once the beep is heard, release your finger.
Switching between the earphones and the smartphone during a call
During a call, press continuously for about 1 second until a beep is heard. Once the beep is heard, release your finger.

Does this radio have gps
Sorry, this model does not offer GPS. JVC does not offer a radio with built-in GPS however there are models such as the KW-V960BW that allows you to use your phone via Carplay or Android Auto and GPS can be used this way.
