Will this fit in a 2005 Toyota rav 4 ? Also what are the reviews about error messages regarding the parking break ?

Yes this fits. The parking brake error prevents customers from watching video while driving. ALL MULTIMEDIA RADIOS have this cable to prevent an accident.

what extra cost items will be needed to install this in my 2015 chevy equinox ? wire harness, bezel, etc ? will you connect my existing backup camera and steering wheel volume controls to this unit ?

How would I be able to keep access with the integrated uConnect climate controls if going to this head unit?

This unit has the ability to adapt to iDataLink. They make an adapter to retain car features. Once plug into the back, those controls will be integrated into head unit
