can I used it right away after purchasing or do I need to let it stand upright for 24 hours?? some other brands say this is necessary.

Can this cool a double car garage? Roll up door has rigid panel insulation and rest of garage is sheet rocked and insulated. The garage by 6pm is around 110 degrees facing the s/w sun. Thanks
Hello astepahead, cooling a garage is harder than cooling a room from a home as the ceilings are normally higher and the insulation is less than indoors, the unit will help to cool down the area as long as the door is not being opened however it may not reach the lower settings. Also, I need to advise you that the unit requires to be vented outside as it will exhaust hot moisture air through the hose at the back.
