I want this for my 3rd floor bedroom since if its over 80 outside, unlike 2nd floor, the central air that homeowner keeps set at 79 does not cool my room at all . I want it to be around 68-72 in my room. Will this unit accomplish this?

Hello, this unit will cool down the room to a maximum of 63F degrees. Please note that the bigger the area to cool down, the longer it will take to the environment to get to the set point.

Can this refrigerator be used outdoors on a patio?

What size window opening will this unit stretch to fit for the hose?

It states that it uses the R410A refrigerant. Does that mean we have to refill it when it runs out? Or do we need to call a pro to do this?

Hello Carl, you do not need to refill the unit, it has a completely sealed system, however in the case your unit needs any repair, we recommend a specialized technician to do so.
