Is it possible to turn off the brushes on the vac ? I have some antique carpets that should never be brushed.

The brush roll cannot turn off, however, you can easily remove it by pulling a labeled brush roll release latch on the side of the brush cover. Just be sure to disconnect the hand held vacuum from the wand before removing the brush roll to ensure there is no unintentional starting or power going to the nozzle. is there a switch to turn off brush so wood floors wont be scratched

Hey jay, Thank you for your question! No, there is not a switch to turn the brush roll off. Our vacuums are designed to have space between the brushes and the floor so they should never contact each other, however I would recommend looking into one of our models with a height adjustment feature, such as the Endura Max Upright, to adjust the height of your vacuum easily so the brush roll scratching your floors isn't a risk. Does it clean up cat litter well that's my main concern..Does it fall out of the bottom after a few weeks and litter get everywhere?
