We've only used blender about 10 times and all of a sudden it doesn't work. It's plugged into a working electrical outlet and glass jar is in correct position. What could be wrong?

A possible cause of blender not working could be jamming. For this you must first disassemble the drive and then turn the blade shaft. If it seems to be jammed, check what is the cause of jamming. My blender makes horrible noise if empty or has food in it. Is that normal

Thank you for contacting Oster®! Blenders are loud, but they can seem even more so because of the vibrations they send through the counter and into the walls. To make it quieter, fold a dish towel and place it under the blender.
