We recommend placing a hot pad or trivet under your countertop oven to prevent possible damage to the surface. Do not set the heated unit on a finished wood table.

I have seen older versions of oster blender being used with regular sized mason jar. Is that possible with oster pro 1200? Has anyone tried? Needed to make small batch of smoothies or baby food.
