RCA - 4-Device Universal Remote - Black

I'm looking for a replacement for my RC246 remote.

They no longer make this remote and the universal remotes (prob not rca) i've tried don't program to this tv...our cable service remote couldn't even connect to this tv. Our volume button no longer works so would like a remote so we don't need to get up & down all the time.

I saw on one website that the RMC12353 RCA remote will work?

Are the surround speakers wireless?

The speakers are not wi-fi, as they connect by wired.

Is this home theater wireless?

The speakers are connect via wired, its not wireless speaker system.

Does this have a blue ray player?

The unit does not play Blue-Ray movies, its made to play DVD movie discs.

unit will not stay on. defective?

we bought the system just before Christmas. the unit will not stay on. we turn it on and it shuts itself off.
what are we doing wrong is it defective? we have stopped using as it is pointless. when it is turned on there is a static buzz most of the time. we have tried moving it to alternate locations and trying on a different TV no different result.

Does it have a built-in am/fm tuner

Unfortunately, Radio Tuner is not an available feature.

Is this unit also a receiver, i.e., able to pick up radio stations?

Unfortunately, Radio Tuner is not an available feature.

Does optical output also work with video( have Apple TV). Trying to hook up to an old analog tv. in a spare room

Optical is an audio source, not a video source.

Multiple devices hooked up

I have an Xbox, PlayStation 4, and dish hooked up to my t.v. But i can not get the sound to work with any of my gaming devices.

Connect it with a Audio cable (red and white) - from the back of the XBOX -PS4 - dish to a mulitple audio selector box , then from the box to the red and white section on the back of the DVD home theater system.
