Thank you for contacting Samson Technologies. Unfortunately, this would not work in that fashion. USB microphones put out digital data that computers can translate. Mixers and interfaces cannot translate this data even with use of some sort of XLR adapter. We do have a variety of XLR microphones that are listed out at www.samsontech.com. I’m looking for a mic for speaking. Is this solely for use with video production, or would it also work with an in-house speaker system?

You would connect from the monitor jack into your 1/8 inch input. You could also connect from this monitor jack into a 1/4 inch jack input if you have an 1/8 to 1/4 adapter. Will the mic work with ps4 or Xbox because I use ps4 and i have no computer but I do want a good quality mic for my playstation and my mic I'm using right now is just a headset microphone and it broke, reason why I want the g-track is because I do singing
