Will this unit work in a 2002 Buick Park Avenue? if so what do I need to do to hook it up? Thanks Dennis
If your Park Avenue 's head unit supports aux-input then the Onyx EZR comes with everything you need. If your Park Avenue's head unit has a cassette player then you can purchase an optional cassette adapter that allows you to play Satellite audio from the Onyx EZR through the cassette player. Alternately you can purchase an FM Direct Adapter and use the FM modulator that is built into the Onyx EZR to connect to your Park Avenue head unit. Professional installation if the FM Direct Adapter is recommended because it requires access to the back of the head unit.

No, these receivers do not have satellite receivers built in so they are not compatible with the SiriusXM antenna NGHA3. To add SiriusXM reception to your audio/AVR receivers you need to add a SiriusXM Satellite radio. Such as the Onyx EZR model# SXEZR1H1. This home radio comes with a home antenna and a satellite radio and includes RCA stereo cables to connect the satellite radio to your receiver.

I have a 2016 ford lariat and it equipped with x m radio . I have an onyx all ready hooked up in my old truck and in my garage . I don’t want an extra payment so can I hook up my onyx in my new truck .
If your 2016 Ford Lariat has aux-input then you can install a spare car kit model #SXDV3 and move your Onyx from garage to truck. If your truck does not have aux-input then you can purchase the FM direct adapter model #FMDA25 which installs in between your trucks head unit and its FM antenna and then connects to the FM port on your spare vehicle dock. When your Onyx is off, normal AM/FM operation is restored to your truck and when you turn on your Onyx the FM antenna is automatically disconnected to eliminate all inference from FM broadcasts and the Onyx audio is routed to the head unit. Professional installation of the FM Direct Adapter because usually the head unit needs to be removed to get access to its antenna so Aux-in is the best option.

I have a good radio on the car, however the satellite antenna is broken and the manufacturer doesn't make it anymore. Will any of this affect the use of this unit?
The Roady BT comes with its own satellite antenna so it won't be affected by the vehicle's broken satellite antenna. As long as your car's radio supports Aux-Input, or Bluetooth, then the Roady BT Satellite radio should work fine with your car's radio straight out of the box. And if your car's radio only supports FM, then Roady BT will work with your car's radio as long as you purchase the optional FM Direct Adapter Model # FMDA25.

Yes, the SXDV3 works with your Onyx EZ for vehicle applications. There is also an SXDH3 (andSXDH4) that also works with your Onyx EZ for home applications.

Is there a way to control the audio/volume level?
The Tour can output audio three ways: Over Bluetooth, over FM, or via Aux output. All three of these have an audio level setting that can be changed via the settings menu. However, the audio level adjustment really isn't a "volume" control as it has a limited range intended to allow the user to match Tour's audio level to that of other levels on the vehicle's head unit or home stereo. Such as to match FM audio level to match other FM stations level when switching from Tour FM to other FM stations. If you use this with wireless Bluetooth speakers or earbuds then you will need to adjust the volume using the volume control on your Bluetooth speaker or earbuds.

if there is no aux jack on the front of the radio i will need to pull the radio out to access the back???
If your radio does not have an Auxiliary Input then you should use the FM modulator built into your satellite radio and purchase an optional FM Direct adapter Model # FMDA25. The FM Direct adapter connects between your vehicle antenna and your vehicle radio and it connects to the SiriusXM Interoperable vehicle kit. Then when you turn on your satellite radio the FM direct adapter disconnects the vehicle's antenna to prevent external interference and connect the FM modulator in the satellite radio directly to the antenna input on the back of vehicle's radio giving high quality FM audio to your vehicle's radio without any external interference. See a preset on your vehicle radio and on your satellite radio and you are good to go. The if you want to listen to FM or AM, just turn off the satellite radio and normal radio operation is restored on your vehicle radio. Turn on your satellite radio and it is automatically connected to your radio. SiriusXM recommends professional installation of the FMDA25 because it requires access to the back of your vehicle's radio.
